The food was really good and the atmosphere was nice. The cozy friendly environment made for a excellent meal.
Found this restaurant after arriving in Stade, friendly staff that got us a table even though all were reserved. Ate hamburger and pasta and both were really good!

I have visited this restaurant many times and every time I leave extremely satisfied. Either meat, or fish dishes, all of them have a true Greek taste, making me feel like I'm tasting genuine home-made food. Besides that, the portions are usually quite big, thus making it difficult to enjoy, not only the main course, but also the big variety of appetizers! There is also great Greek wine, which I definitely recommend.

Laz will cook up an amazing surprise of fresh and deliciously flavored multi course meal. Very good wine selection and atmosphere was perfect for a romantic couple or group of friends celebrating a birthday.

I have been to the Ratskeller a few times when I have visited Stade. It is very centrally located but slightly off putting as the entrance and first appearance isn't the best. However, it is well worth a visit. The homemade beer is exceptionally good. The food is plentiful and extremely tasty and it represents good value for money. If you don't have fluent German then the menu can be challenging but for the savvy then google translate will give you a wonderful translation for rump steak!!

Nestled away in the outskirts of Harsefeld lies a true gem of a restaurant. It serves local cuisine and the chef makes the most of local, seasonal ingredients. The food is cooked well, tasty and the staff incredibly friendly. They are busy as this is a restaurants where the locals eat, so reservations are recommended.

The Fischhus Störtebeker offers an excellent range of fish and meat dishes along with a selection of salads. The dining rooms are all atmospheric and the service is extremely friendly! The restaurant also has some single and double rooms, which are quiet since the restaurant is located off a side street to the Fischmarkt.

Normally, this restaurant is deservedly full most nights, so reservations are usually essential. However, last Thursday, only a few diners were present. That made for the perfect private dining surroundings that we needed for a sensitive business discussion. Our table, tucked away in a corner and partly screened, was ideally placed. The room is pleasantly furnished and the seating was comfortable. Service was pleasant and professional. One of my companions had truffle ravioli, which she said was excellent. Another ate octopus, which he really enjoyed. It was served in a very tempting style. I ate very good veal saltimboca and the kitchen willingly provided my favourite Spanish-style roast potatoes with it, instead of the standard side dish. Our recommended wine was well-matched to the food for all of us. Quantities were enough for us not to want desserts. This is a nice winter venue, but its location on the waterside and its outside terrace suggest that summer dining would be a scenic, as well as a satisfying, experience.

We've been to this bar many many times over the years and have always had a good welcome..but things have changed...the old owner Ron has gone and the new manager/owners are absolutely terrible and ungrateful of any business you want to pass them on...only yesterday she turned myself and 4 friends away...we ended up spending â¬125 in a bar across the road...I can't explain how badly we were treated..the landlady seems lazy and ungrateful..and smiling is a no goer...please do not spend any of your money in this establishment(unless Ron returns) there are plenty of other bars in Stade that are more worthy and grateful for your business...I'd go as far as saying one star is too much for this dive of a place...I'm not a happy chap!!!!!

We got good steaks, well prepared, tender and juicy and great service. The location in Stade is (of course) great and the venue is welcoming. Only disappointment was the frozen and microwaved desert but who visits a steak house for the desert?
