SALT - Kitchen & Lounge
I had fairly high expectations of this restaurant, since the way it advertises itself is top quality food and a great experience. No it is not. Starters were fine, my Casarecce Gragnano were actually exceptional, so I was looking forward to everything else. The main course was an expensive piece of beef, split for 2 people - fit for an experience (supposedly), but it was horrendous. It was very bad in taste, and dry. Poorly seasoned and it felt like it had sat there for a while. My biggest problems with this restaurant are more than just the main course being very poor though, it's even more-so about ehe horrible service and manager/owner. First of all, the restaurant is big and sits a lot of people for this type of ambitious menu/quality that they aim for - so the wait times were absolutely unacceptable. We waited about 40 minutes for the starter and a further hour and a half for the main course. A table next to us complained and they wanted to leave - which they ended up doing before the main course arrived (this was already an hour in after ordering, like us). The manager/owner or whoever he was, kept bringing up excuses to them and to my view was even rude to the person who had a very valid complaint. We were looking at this and cringing honestly. But what came next honestly shocked us. After we had our main course, this owner/manager guy decided to come bad mouth those complaining customers to us. This felt extremely unprofessional and we were put under pressure - trying to have a nice quiet meal. We had to listen to a delusional man who expecting us to agree with him about people "expecting too much" for just wanting their food to be served in a timely manner. We couldn't complain, we felt under extreme pressure and as if he would also make sure to bad mouth us after WE leave. it was very uncomfortable. Further to this, he explained that he cannot hurry his chef or return any dishes to him because he will get "angry" so he lies to him about everyone enjoying his food and hides criticism. This alarmed me, it seems that the chef here is also delusional (if this guy was right). Criticism is important, and if this guy never gets to hear it - no wonder his end product is very lacking. Not going here again, I suggest people avoid this place. Definitely very poor value and awful service. We expect much higher quality from a place that parades itself as top class. Forget about it.

Damianos Is A Family Run Restaurant,we Specialize In Pizza & Pasta Dishes.damianos Has Acquired A Reputation For Quality Food & Value Combined With A Genuine Warm Welcome.
This is a fairly small, cosy restaurant with a really nice ambiance. The menu has a large choice of pastas and pizzas and the wine is very reasonably priced. Service was great. I loved the pasta which I chose (Damianoâs special). My husband was slightly less enthusiastic about his lasagne which he found a little dry. He did however say that he would go back to try one of the pizzas which looked fantastic.

From booking our table with Luqa, to being greeted and catered for. This is not just a place with excellent food, although the food is amazing. This is an experience, the service is excellent, friendly and extremely accommodating. Luqa is an exceptional manager and his obvious professionalism and easy going personality is, in my opinion, why this place has won so many awards. His staff are also very professional and the food and drink is awesome. After having complimentary fresh bread and home made butters, and deconstructed olives, we had scallops and the sea bass ravioli for starters! All excellent. For mains we had the Angus fillet lava grilled steak and the Duck. Wow to both. Thanks again and I shall come here again one day.

A traditional Piemontese Restaurant in the heart of Malta to bring you our passion for food straight from the Western Alps.
We went to this restaurant on a Saturday evening. Itâs not far from the square. I got fried tomino boscailo to start which was wrapped in Parma ham on a bed of salad in balsamic vinegar. I didnât like the cheese however, if you do like this type of cheese it would be a very tasty choice! I then ordered a spaghetti marinara from the specials menu which a seafood love would definitely love! My partner ordered the pesto gnocchi which was gorgeous and the little Italy pizza which was amazingly fresh! Itâs worth a try if you like Italian food! The staff were so friendly too!

Carvv is our interpretation of the American Steakhouse, combining bistro ambiance with steakhouse fare. Quality, comfort and good value are the three main key ingredients that make Carvv an experience like no other.
Had a lovely meal here on the last night of our holiday. Beautifully cooked fillet steak with mini roast potatoes and veg. Very good value for money as the price includes a salad starter as well as soup with bread and croutons. Good selection of reasonably priced bottles of wine.

One of the best meals Iâve had anywhere in ages. We shared calimari to start and it was delicious. We had beef and pork belly for mains and salted caramel cheesecake to follow. Lovely inexpensive wine. Attentive staff. Cannot find anything to fault. I would definitely come back here

One of top #3 pizza I've ever had and I'm a pizza enthusiast, serving it around the world. The recipes differ and you might find some them really not on your taste just because you choose the wrong one.Just look carefully and pick the right ingredient for you.The location is appalling. But the staff is fantastic and they don't deserve less than 5* because of that.It could be crowded sometimes, so expect that. And it's off-way, so not really in line with other restaurants which you can easily choose from if this is full. But you should see them really struggling and working hard and you will understand they put their efforts and deserve nothing less than the best from you also.

A family orientated restaurant with beautiful sea views of St Paul's Island, Comino and Gozo. It forms part of the Malta National Aquarium Complex
Lovely pizza (nice and thin and crispy), great location but perhaps a little overpriced. 4 of us ate, and 3 of us had the mexicana pizza - not as spicy as any of us would have liked however - but this did not distract from the quality.
