Some writing on the side wall in this Windsor branch reads like something of a mission statement by the owner to bring a revolution of tapas eating to all points along a T drawn on a map of England. But itâs not as if Tapas Revolution is exactly the first to bring Spanish tapas to England. Indeed in London weâve reached the point of having Spanish restaurants specialising in barbecued meats such as Lobos, and even Basque-style pinxos bars. Not is it even the first chain of tapas bars as Brindisa, Boqueria not to mention the superlative Barrafina have got there first. And judging by most of the fare we sampled today they do it better. Pieces of chorizo in a clay pot were a little greasy and too spicy. Tortilla nothing special when compared with the versions with added prawn or chorizo in other places. Squid comprised long thin rubbery strips not terribly well complimented by a rather tasteless mayonnaise. Peppers were not really bettered by the addition of a cheese and mushroom goo. Ham croquettes, however, were perfectly crunchy outside but creamy inside. A gazpacho soup served in a glass was excellent. A cod bacalao was a generous piece of fish on a colourful base of red peppers and green olive halves, perhaps the most successful of the dishes we ordered. No complaints about meatballs in a tomato sauce. Espressos had no froth and were too watery. Perhaps the best feature of this place is the very competitive price particularly for sharing sets of dishes for either two or four people.

More than a gastro pub, the food was amazing, beautiful ingredients lovingly prepared & cooked. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and obviously passionate about the food & wine she was serving. All of it was delicious but the deer was stunning and loved the Bon Bon we were given when we had our pre dinner drinks

From start to finish, Aaronâs service was fabulous. To say he provides service with character is an understatement. He was attentive, funny and gave a couple of good recommendations from the menu. The food was secondary to the service in this instance. Parmesan truffle fries were just fries with some very large Parmesan gratings. Ditto the Parmesan element of the pea risotto. Belly pork wasnât a great dish. On the plus side, wine selection was brilliant.Fine for a get-together with friends.

Absolutely delicious food, my favourite is the tuna nicotine which comes with a tuna steak cooked to perfection or steak frites a thinly cut soft tasty steak with garlic butter sauce being my favourite sauce. I ahem coeliac disease and they cater excellently to my gluten free diet, little flags on my food to certify its gluten free and my order taken seriously, they even have gluten free bread so you can have pate or a few other starters, pudding is more limited there ice cream and another cold dessert option but nothing special. overall excellent place to eat and the particular location in Windsor is beautiful set on the river side.

We stumbled across this place on a visit to Windsor. Crossing the bridge into Eton itâs one of the first places you come to on the left hand side of the High Street and we were so glad weâd wandered a little further afield for a bit to eat.The three course lunch menu offered excellent value for money and everything was delicious. A goats cheese and apple salad was full of surprises like a sweet cured cucumber and their âfish and chipsâ was fantastic. No claggy batter but a delicious light panko crumb on the fish and some of the biggest (and tastiest) twice cooked chips youâll ever see.Leave the âall you can eatâ buffets and chain restaurants behind and support this great little bistro. Great food, great staff and a great location.

We are situated in the most historic part of Windsor town, one minute's walk from Windsor Castle and directly opposite the Guildhall. We have al fresco dinning in the picturesque cobbled street during the summer months and live music every Friday and Satu
Friendly staff on arrival. Restaurant was clean and well presented. Fresh linen on each table. Recommend booking ahead as the restaurant is small and we saw people being turned away. Starters are £5-6 each. We shared a Greek salad and calamari dish. Salad was not very authentic. Contained mostly lettuce with few olives and little feta with no traditional herbs. Calamari was better value for money. For our main meal we both ordered a Stifado dish priced at £19.95. The dish was very tasty but again lacked the authentic Greek element. There were no baby onions as you would expect with this dish and the rice was a better option compared to chips, which were a little on the soggy side. Lovey inviting restaurant but overpriced.

A lovely restaurant in one of Londonâs most beautiful hamlets. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy. The sole and risotto well prepared and yummy. Our wait staff and managers were very attentive. You can count on a wonderful meal.

This was a lovely place to eat. We had a table for about 8 of us booked, it was a little cramped but didnât detract from the enjoyment of the restaurant. A lovely lady looked after us, I had mozzarella and Parma ham for starter which was lovely and sea bass for my main, thoroughly enjoyed both. We finished with a chocolate dessert which was to die for.All in all, very nice restaurant, good service and would recommend.
