Friendly staff. Attentive service. Warm atmosphere. Great steak burgers. Good coffee too. Definitely a place to eat when what you really want is a tasty, easy, filling supper.

Being the oldest and best Italian restaurant in town, this is a mainly Italian style restaurant with some Greek dishes and some Turkish influence. They make great pizza with a good crust and fresh toppings. Pasta dishes are OK but nor memorable. Meat dishes and steaks are generally good and well prepared.Everything is nicely presented by the good service in a nice and clean restaurant. My Tip: Go for the Pizza Rustica and leave the risottos.

A la Carte Restaurant in Skaelskoer harbor. We have approx 60 seats indoor and 150 seats outdoor. Our outdoor seats is right by the water, and we have one terrace right in the water. If you only want to drink a cop of coffee/the you are also very welcome.
Solsikken, Danish for 'Sunflower', is located at the harbour in Skaelskoer, an easy ten-minute trip off the motorway when heading towards Copenhagen. Take the first exit off the bridge that connects the island of Fyn and Sjælland, home of Hans Christian Andersen. The food is delicious, beautifully presented and the service was friendly. Even the locals dining at a nearby table were friendly, greeting us when we arrived and when they left. Two at our three-top ordered typical Danish lunches: a fish plate with chicken salad and a near tartar with pom frittes; surprised to see 'Chicken Nachos' on the menu, a very unDanish menu item, I took a chance and they were fantastic! Two teenagers, obviously local ordered them, so it seems this quasi-healthy junk food lunch has gone global! No surprise that the salsa was mild and the jalapeno peppers were served as a side! This is obviously the local hangout for football, the 'give away' the huge television at the bar! This is now a bookmark on the GPS!

This fabulous ice cream and coffee parlour in on our walk to and from the beach and is difficult to pass. The 16 different flavours of ice cream plus soft ice are served from an old fashioned caravan and coffee and other goodies are served from an adjacent attractive building. Under cover outside seating with night time Gary lights make this a really cool and cosy place and seems to be a hit with all ages:-) Thank you

We went for lunch having read some pretty nice reviews and we were not disappointed.Nothing special, just a hamburger with bacon and fries. However the meat was a good quality and it was NOT overdone.

Our kitchen is open all year round. We have a varied menucard, and a wide array of menu suggestions for your party. If you have special requests, we will do our best to fulfill your dreams. Visit our website for additional information - ONLY DANISH.
Food is okey and the service is very friendly. They could lift the standard with a bit more effort in the kitchen: the last original touch. If you announce Tapas on the menu you should stay away from the Danish hotel concept of tapas. Its not tapas. Go Spanish and make it more original. The dishes on the menu should be perfect. So a bit more practice on those. The menu and the kitchen is above average - but still some improvements needed considering the location and clientele.

Although not immediately attractive from the street we had a lovely meal with relaxed friendly service and very good steaks beautifully cooked. There is a salad bar if you want it but the steaks are served with nicely cooked vegetables and portions are good. We would visit again

When we arrived at Madam Bagger they where actually closed between lunch and dinner, but they opened up anyway for us. We ate some great danish "smørbrød". The kids had club sandwiches. The portions where large and the food tasted great. Excellent staff as well. I can really recommend this place. Will definately go back if I'm in the area.

Tony makes an effort to distinguish his cuisine from the Turkish pizza offered everywhere else as Italian fast food.Pizzeria is a misused term within fastfood - as genuin Italian Pizza do not offer 300g meat, bearnaise sauce, pineapple or salad - among other misconceptions.Italian Pizza is much more simple and more delicate.Tony's pasta follow the same rules.I hope you - as me - will help Tony to fight the last frontier and help to build a barrier between Italian food and just fast food with Italian names!
