Small restaurant with a nice terrasse located in the historical center of Sion, in a pedestrian street. Tapas are served only at night and all the food is homemade with fresh product. Music-cocktails-wine -tapas are the Be Bop trend! We hope to see you so
Found this little gem, a bit hidden in the center of town..... In any case worth the detour down the small side street.Clean, great lighting, perfect sound and volume, friendly service, quality food and beverage offering, at fair prices.....To give a brief overview.I had eggplant parmigiana, beef tartare, salmon creme brûlée, and the duck rillette, and found them all delicious and well prepared. Looking for the hair in the soup, the place work is needed is the food presentation. It looks as if this newly opened place is still looking to define its style and signature. On my next trip down south, I hope to check out their lunch offeringsHello Jo H,First i like to thanx you for your very sympatic message. We are happy that the food you have talken at Be Bop was appreciate. We also want to thank you for the remarque about presentation, and we will work on it with our chief !I hope we will welcome back you soon and give you complete satisfaction (taste & presentation)! We wish you a nice year 2016

Actually this place looks nice From The outside. But inside it is small and very noisy. That is the second impression you get after talking with the waitress, who is far from being nice. The speciality is sea fruit .. Hum, we are far from the sea, and that place could make you feel it. I took oyster and I was not feeling well after the meal. The second time I went there, I took mussels. Five of them were not fresh.. Really not fresh .. Maybe, if you want to eat there, try meat ..

In the old town of Sion on a pedestrian only street, parc in the nearby underground garage, is this unpretentious bistro which serves typical local Suiise food. Very friendly service and affordable prices make this restaurant a fantastic choice. We started with very good cheese fondue, followed by beef fondue with potatoes, dry meat, cornichons and small onions. All acompanied by a fresh Valais white and finished with a Valais red. A very pleasant evening despite the typical smell of your clothes after a Fondue feast.

On a semi-pedestrianised street in the centre of town is this restaurant's terrace; popular with the local population and deservedly so; relaxed, good food (penne with smoked salmon, salmon sashimi, dry chilled rose etc). Worth reserving when the weather is good to be out on the terrace.

The place has class, beautifully decorated. Love the choice of colours and the setup. Its a bit small though, however the space was well used, lot of room to move around. The tables are neatly setup, simple and sophisticated. The lighting is perfect, not too much light which really creates an ideal atmosphere. The service was great, the waiters were attentive and genuinely friendly. They were able to answer all our questions about their dishes. They met our demands with grace and a big smile. I was really impressed. Their service is 5* . We left really late and no once did they showed any signs of annoyance. We ordered the menu of the day/night, there were two entrees, the first one was foie gras and aubergines, I love the tastes however there was just too much olive oil. Was hard to eat it, was forced to eat bread with it. The second entree was daurade with rice. Was really good unfortunately, for me this kind of dish would qualify as a main dish, instead of an entree. It was heavy and I was hoping for something more light, that would stimulate your taste buds. The main dish was a choice between lamb and beef. The beef was absolutely delicious. Dessert was really good. First time to discover the taste of absinthe, can eat this ice cream all day long. The price was cheaper than I expected. The restaurant is well known, a lot of people recommend it so I thought it would cost. Wasn't the case at all, a main dish for CHF38-60 is decent. I would recommend this restaurant and I would definitely go back. Great place to have birthday dinners or company dinners. Or just drop by for a drink.

etablissement gastronomique moderne en ville de Sion proposant une cuisine de saison au travers de menus surprises 1 etoile michelin , 17/20 Gault Millau
Had the summer menu with wines. 7 courses, but only one of the starters had a touch of magic. Desserts were on the excellent side, but one of the main dish was clearly a flop: sweetbread with some guacamole, very strange, sweet ann lacking contrast. The rest was on the (too) classical side and although excellent was lacking the Master touch we were expecting. Serving rhythm was a bit slow but improving for desserts. Wines were exclusively from Wallis and generally very typical and well chosen, some excellent, a good deal for the price. The place is quite comfortable, seating is good, decoration on the wall ugly, but I guess it's a matter of taste! Service is probably the best you can hope for in Sion, that is still with some progress margin⦠but rather efficient. Overall this is quite a nice place, certainly worth a stop if you're around but still away from a couple of Michelin starsâ¦

We have been visiting La Sitterie for several years now and can honestly say that we have never been disappointed . The chef Jaques is a master in his field, his dishes are a creative and during the years we have been going there we rarely have the same dish twice. The staff are brilliant and make you feel at home and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. We have travelled a lot and eaten in many excellent restaurants but I can honestly say that it's hard to find one that we enjoy eating in as much as this one. It's fairly small, seating about 24 people so it's necessary to book well in advance. In the summer months there is a really pretty garden you can eat in and at night it looks lovely with fairy lights around. This restaurant is well worth a visit.
