Restaurante de cocina tipica suiza en la agradable estacion de Sierra Nevada, nuestra especialidad son las irresistibles fondues de queso y carne a la piedra, todo en nuestro acogedor restaurante donde la calidad es nuestro sello.
We were so excited to try this place as weâd gone in on a previous evening only to be told they were fully booked. So, we decided to reserve a table for the following evening. There were 6 of us and we ordered a cheese fondue for 3 people and then stone grilled meat for the other 3. The stone grilled meat was absolutely delicious and the kids loved the idea of cooking their own dinner (with a lot of assistance from us!!). The fondue was ok but when we (very politely) asked if weâd inadvertently only been given enough for 2 people and not 3 as there was nowhere near enough food for the 3 of us, we were immediately met with an extremely rude and aggressive response from the owner. She was very argumentative and practically threw the rest of our food at us when it was ready. When we asked for the bill at the end of the meal she wouldnât even talk to us or make eye contact. It was a real shame as we were so excited to go here. The other waiting staff were very pleasant but the owner needs to sort her vile attitude out.thak you for coming

My wife and I were welcomed at an impromptu visit to this small restaurant. The food and service was excellent... So we returned the next day! We were not disappointed. Thank you to all the staff for their pleasant and kind attention to presenting two very good meals.

We came back from the vereda de la Estrella walk and stopped as we were hungry. I expected a snack bar and the surprise to find a gourmet restaurant at affordable price in this remote location was huge. Brilliant customer service, nice food and an attractive location. Well done!

After hiking the top we went for lunch in the village and chose La Visera. Dining outdoor at the terrace we had great view to the hills and to the summer activity centre. The food was very tasty. He had Pizza, Chicken fingers, burgers, nachos and chicken wings.

We went to this restaurant twice while staying in Sierra Nevada. The pizzas were ok on the first visit and quite good on the second. The salads were good but I had the macaroni arrabiatta on the second visit and it was awful. The sauce was gloopy as if it came from a jar of really cheap sauce. It was very disappointing!

Rock & Blues coffee-bar and sport bar. Hamburguers, finguers food, drinks. One of the best panoramic terrace in Sierra Nevada with fantastic views. Cocktails, desserts... Free wifi.
The Best service! Great view and sun later than "downtown"! We have come back several times and it is a perfect Pitstop if you are taking the stairs up the mountain. We actually took the stairs for this stop rather than taking the chair lift. Would recommend this anytime.

We stumbled on La Antorcha by mistake (we went in because our son thought it meant he would have access to the games room he saw next door, which turned out not to be connected) but had a great meal. The staff were welcoming and the food was excellent, although heavily meat-based. First up were some free sausage trees (!), featuring various different types of local sausage with bread and a salsa type sauce. The sausage was really good. We followed that up with various types of steak which we roasted on the hot stones at our table - a lot of fun for the kids, and fun to eat too (especially the tenderloin). The baked potatoes were the pick of the sides we chose, with an honourable mention for the padron peppers. Service was very good too. Overall, highly recommended.

A busy restaurant, lots of staff and a nice decor. The starters were all very tasty (the group had garlic mushrooms, salmon, mozzarella salad and duck rolls).Mains were all disappointing as the menu didnât really describe what we got that accurately. The grilled chicken breast and fried potatoes is actually chicken in breadcrumbs with chips. It tasted great though. The wines were recommended by the staff and were really good, local wines.
