This little restaurant perched at the edge of the market in Meudon, is a delightful place for lunch or dinner. The food is simple but very fresh and tasty. The prices are really more than reasonable - something like 22 euros for a main course, desert, glass of wine and coffee. And the charming owner offered us an aperitif because our table wasn't quite ready. There is also a little terrace for when weather is good. Definitely worth a visit - and good to have an accessible restaurant at a stone's throw from the heart of the village of Meudon.

Very good restaurant, had the set 5course menu and a incredible value. Stay away from the old wine bottles in the winelist, and you'll have an excellent meal at half the price of central Paris. Langoustines were good, the Bresse chicken excellent. Service is good and they have an acceptable wine list.

Nice 23 years old french bistrot with warm atmosphere. Little terrace on a quiet street. Good products in the plates, good wines in the cellar, smiling and happy people.
This place is highly over rated for a reason. Saint Cloud lacks decent and interesting restaurants, so this place while very average on every respect shines locally because of the non existent competition. It should also be noted that the restaurant is right opposite an "office block", which is where it derives the majority of its customers for business lunches and after work drinks and or meal. Menu is very limited for anyone not comfortable with the regular meat centric french fare. Service is uneven, especially if you are a new customer. I don't recommend eating on the bar, which is often proposed when the restaurant is full, may be ok if you are the only person, they often squish too many people which makes for a very uncomfortable experience and you may be eating facing the bar sink full of dirty glasses.

We had a truly wonderful dinner here on a Saturday evening. Luckily we had made a reservation or we would not have gotten in. It's very popular. Everything from the burrata and tomato salad to the pasta and panna cotta were excellent. Great garlic bread and bread sticks to start. So good!!! It is not far from Roland Garros, French Open but off the beaten path from central Paris.

Very happy that I chose this place. I arrived quite early (6:40 ish) so I think they were only just open and not quite ready for customers, but I got a friendly welcome and took a seat. I had the smoked salmon to start, and the escalope with marsala to follow with a carafe of Bordeaux. In addition they brought some nice black olives and some lovely fresh bread to the table and it was all very good indeed. I can't speak for the rest of the menu - though I'm sure I'll be back to try some of it - but on this evidence this is a place well worth visiting. It may not be the kind of haute cuisine to blow your socks off but it's very decent Italian food with friendly service at a reasonable price.

Our second time at this stunning little restaurant that sets charming and different (no French wines!) undertones in Paris' culinary scene. They are dedicated to their customers and to their food, and it shows in fully booked evenings and people coming back again and again. The place is "hip", with colourful design and cool culinary creations (today we had house made Mushroom ice-cream, for example), and there is always also a young diners audience, but not exclusively. Demographic wise interesting place: you can find all ages and nationalities sharing food and bottles of wine here on any given day.Even after over three months, we were recognised and handled with utmost friendliness and care.Would I live in Paris, I certainly would become a regular!P.S. - If the low temperature, slow cooked egg is available, just order and enjoy!

So glad we did. Itâs small and cosy but big enough to feel like youâre out somewhere nice. There were 3 of us, one had the fish, another the steak bleu and I had the lamb. It was all excellent. The wine was also good. We were all blown away by the desserts too, the lemon tarte was absolutely fabulous. Thank you

Simple food, well prepared , everything has a little twist to it. The duck is superb, the burgers are great. My wife had cod and it was perfectly prepared. And, a nice selection of wines. Moderately priced, in a casual but comfortable space, it is inciting and the host, Mathieu, makes you feel very welcome. It will be a favorite.I'm glad you had a great time with us and that you enjoyed your lunch. Proud that you came to visit us and can't wait seeing you soon in my bistro.

We were out for an evening stroll near our apartment and noticed this Michelin starred restaurant. Though we were casually dressed and had no reservation, they found us a table in their beautiful garden and we ordered from the reasonably priced prix-fixe options. Service was attentive and prompt; along with some savory amuse-bouche and good champagne we enjoyed a lovely meal. The mushroom-chicken tartelet stands out as one of the tastiest morsels ever, though the main courses were less exemplary. The occasional train cruising by took some getting used to, but all in all a good experience if one does not feel like going in to Paris for a meal.

Mrs. Chauvel's English has improved remarkably. Mr. Chauvel's cooking has taken on nuances of Japanese food. During April I went there twice with 2 different groups of friends and family. Both times we had the smaller menu for 70+ Euros. More than enought to eat. Interesting flavors and different. The first group (5) ate everything. The second group had one Hindu REAL vegetarian and a fish-only eater and me (normal). We had really original pure vegetarian meal: interesting vegetable presentations. Both times there were 3 desserts. Fabulous chocolate desert. Apetizers: one thing was radishes with black sesame seeds. Mr and Mrs. Chauvel have learned new things, but stay the kind, considerate people they have always been. The ambience and handicapped bathroom is an added attraction. A 3 star restaurant on a one star budget. Merci beaucoup.Thank you very much, it was a real pleasure to see you again. Thanks for my English. We are delighted that you again enjoy the cuisine of Jean. See you soon
