We had dinner here in June 2014, when the family and I were travelling through Europe. Clearly the service and the food is memorable as 2 years later I can still recall the experience. We had some trouble deciding on what to order, so one of the waiters offered to arrange a sample of a number of dishes. Needless to say, the food was fabulous and yes it is one of the best meals I have ever had in a restaurant.

We we're just strolling around the neighbourhood when we stumbled across this Italian bistro. We could smell the food from outside and we just had to go in. No tourist in sight here, this really is a place where the Italian go and meet eachother. Everybody knew eachother as well. We both ordered pasta and it was perfect. Also it was very affordable, since we just came from Milano where its quite expensive. Service was great, waiter was kind and funny. Since there was no english menu he took the time to go through the menu with us. Would definitely recommend !!

Each and every visit to Florence and Tuscany means a stop at Chiaroscuro. We go in a group and get various pizzas and pastas. The pizzas are ultra-reliable. Of the 4 or 5 pasta choices, one will have a hard time deciding which one to order. The food is outstanding. The service is friendly and casual, as are the other patrons. There is no pretense here, unlike what you might encounter in the center of Florence. It is fairly priced. You will go home, or to your hotel, reflect on the excellent food you just had, and sleep like a baby. I love this place, and I live halfway around the world.

Tuscan tipical Kitchen and a mix Provencal, a blast from Tuscan cooking fairy old traditional flavors with flare-ups of Provencal cuisine, poor hints of French cuisine. All with European and contemporary contributions. We know the past in order to create
Le Cirque proportionate to us one incredible experience. We got married in Florence and we have the catering from them. First of all, the food is incredibly amazing! Everything is delicious, very kindly matched with incredible beverages, and beautifully presented. The staff is friendly and careful. We strongly recommend Le Cirque! Fernanda & Diego

I just got home from a solo dinner at Nedo and am sad I didn't go sooner. The service was friendly and perfectly attentive but not overbearing, and the waiter spoke English in addition to Italian (of course).Despite being a restaurant focused on meat, there are some good vegetarian options. I had the pici (a thick spaghetti typical to Tuscany) with an egg fricassee of lemon, capers and oregano. It was so good with just the right amount of lemon giving it a sense of brightness. Wine and beer list is good, but the amaro selection could be improved. Though an added sip of lemoncello at the end of the meal made up for it. :)All in all a welcoming place with a successfully creative menu - I can't wait to visit Florence again so I can come back.

The restaurant is in a small group of houses in an industrial area in Florence suburbs; furniture and interiors are recalling 80s, with a strange effect of "old modern"; as soon as we entered, some fish smell making you wonder if this is the right place...After the first -non positive- impact, the situation has been quickly improving with excellent fish appetizers, both the ones we selected (ventaglio di carpacci and carpaccio of swordfish with orange sauce) and the ones being served to other guests.Very good also the first dishes, the dessert, and the fresh Friuli Traminer we selected. Overall, an excellent dinner; some adjustments to the look would help to furtherly improve the rating

We arrived in Sesto Fiorentino late in the evening, arrived at our vacation rental famished, our host recommended AqAbA. She called made reservations and drove us over. Upon entry we were greeted very warmly, we explained we had reservations and were seated on the main floor. Service was impeccable. There was a â¬2,50 cover per person.Food was very good, nice ambiance in the restaurant. A very enjoyable dining experience. Total for dinner for 3 - â¬80,00. Very reasonable.

I always use TA in my trips and at home to discover new interesting places. I must have read hundreds of users' reviews by now, but I never bothered to write a review myself, and I most certainly never thought I'd write an 'excellent' review. That was until yesterday, when we - literally - stumbled upon Giulia and her great place. If you don't know Sesto Fiorentino - and I cannot imagine why you should - imagine a large suburban sprawl of a place, with many industries but no attractions or sights whatsoever. With one exception: the only large mall of Florence, packed with fashion brands, and the like.It seems several other people went our route before: felt hungry at the end of a shopping spree in the mall, did not want to go to mcdonalds, looked up TA and discovered this exceptional place. After a short drive through industrial sheds (we have to thank our gps for not getting lost) we land at the corner of - yet another industrial shed. Some plants and parasols cordon off a nice outside garden though, and the tables made out of vintage furniture add to the odd charm of the place. Soon you sit down and forget completely where you are.The staff are friendly and very young, the cook and owner, Giulia, is also very friendly and very young. She comes to greet you at your table and explains at length how she came up with the ideas for the menu, the ambience etc. She has not not done any stage in any school or famous restaurant, but she is a real chef.We are not vegetarians, but most of our meals are, we often try out vegetarian/vegan places, and this is by far the most interesting, compelling and satisfying vegetarian food I ever tasted. We ordered two different "composite" dishes to try as many dishes as possible. As usual, my fiancé went for lighter tastes, I chose stronger ones. All the dishes were at least very good, and a couple outstanding. A small "coccio" of onions, tomatoes and olives had a taste so intense I still remember it, and a cheese flan with bitter radicchio was equally memorable. My fiancé chose a remarkable risotto that smelled of lavanda but tasted of artichokes and almonds.Add to that a large list of original alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, also excellent, a short but excellent wine list, artesanal beers, live jazz music every Wednesday, and you are all set for a really remarkable evening. If you are in Florence and have a car (and a reliable gps) do consider trying out this place. I often noticed that otherwise unattractive cities make up for the lack in sights with great restaurants and bars, but this place really went beyond any expectation. One of the very few places I think I can not only recommend, but actively support.
