For me the atmosphere is lacking. The very modern glass and concrete decor not my choice. But the menu is very interesting. They have an excellent chef, and are very adventurous in providing such a broad range of choice. Italian, Asian, fusion, ...something for everyone. There are plenty of friendly staff, but the waiters do need to concentrate, especially for those sitting in the outdoor area. There's no alcohol at all, so although I enjoy the food, the drinks list is... ugh!

We visit, and first we had our doubts because when we arrived the place was realy quiet at 18:30, but the Tukang Parkir explained that it got crowded around 19:00, which indeed happened.My wife took the Wagyu Sirloin and I took the Legendary Holysteak, which was indeed heavenly.The Staff, great service. I have nothing more to add.

Everytime we visited Semarang we always had dinner at this restaurant and the must ordered menu is pork knuckle because it was taste so good. Other menu we order is pork ribs with sambal matah is also recommended. The ambiance is relax and not so big. The people at savoury also served well. This has been my father favorite place for dinner especially the knuckle and the ribs.

This restaurant has a large parking and easy access. The decor is nice and western with a very beautiful lighting and good interior design. The menu offers a selection of western dishes. The portions are big and the taste is great. They have a long bar with a wide selection of alcohol and non-alcohol drinks. Recommended has a good addition to the few quality restaurants the city has to offer.

My wife and I visit Semarang usually twice a year to visit relatives and we always dine at this fine restaurant at least once during our holiday which we did twice on this trip and was very satisfied with everything, good food, good atmosphere, good service and above all very good value

Had a birthday party for my daughter-in-law and a family reunion. Went to this restaurant for the first time several years ago and noticed that it was still bustling and popular. Friendly staff, good quality and tasty food, quick service, although live music was too loud for us to have a good chat.

I love thisss place. Nice ambience,tasty food with right portion. Nachos was so big. Range price not so expensive (still under 60k for pasta and other snacks). Fresh juice was good. They hv many spot photos and have nice city view. You can brunch or dinner in here

We've been traveling in Indonesia for three weeks, and long had grown tired to the typical Indonesian dishes that appear on almost any dinner menu. So, tonight, tired and hungry we went with Italian. The place wasn't that empty on a Monday night, so we had attentive service, and didn't have to wait that long before our main courses arrived. They served us yummy break sticks and such to help with the hunger. The service was cheerful (even if their English was rudimentary at best), the food decent (not great) and the atmosphere was on the loud side, but we found a quiet corner to ourselves.

Spiegel is located in the area called old city in Semarang. Location is ok, the restaurant is well organised, personnel is kind and professional, the food taste so good and is always well presented and well served. Always nice to pay a visit to Spiegel.
