A relative took us here for dinner, they have great food. Traditional foods for the area, some great beer to drink as well. The service was very good, and the ambiance was very welcoming.
Wir hatten ein sehr gutes Essen (Kalbsleber, Schnitzel, Nocken,...) alles zu empfehlen - das Personal macht dafür einen eher unmotivierten Eindruck... das passt nicht zum Essen und dem was man sein will.

Having discovered Weintraube when staying in Seekirchen in September 2014 when we had a great time thanks to owner Eva Worle and her team we made a point of returning during our latest visit to Austria.Staying in Seekirchen again - only a short train journey from Salzburg and 5 minute walk from our apartment we only had taste buds for Weintraube in town. The simple fact is that whilst we spent much of or time in Salzburg where there are many great restaurants; Eva is such a good host in what is an outstandingly we'll run establishment that we we compelled to return. Indeed we went three times during a one week stay.Weintraube is situated on the Main Street through the centre of Seekirchen, a beautiful town next to the nearby near bathing lake and town of Wallersee. Seekirchen is not known for its tourists and so for us it provides an authentic and traditional experience amongst people in what is a friendly community. The restaurant's decor is of a tradional wood finish and provides a welcoming atmosphere. It is clearly a place that local people of all ages come together eat, drink and to socialise. It is worth noting that whilst many restaurants / hostilities in Austia close relatively early Weintraube opens until late. In addition to the restaurant area you can sit at the bar which boasts some great wine among others drinks of course. It is clear last year that Eva and her team enjoy their work and each other's company, just as we had remembered from last year. Although not wishing to single out any one of Eva's team, special mention should be made of Sandra who was outstanding. Many travellers will have returned to a favoured restaurant during a later visit only to be disappointed because things were not as they remembered - Weintraube was fantasic - just as we had remembered and looked forward to, so good in fact that we have already reserved a table for December when we will be returning with some friends from the UK.Weintraube will forever be a "must visit" place on our list when in the locality. Please go and see for yourself and tell Eva that you read about Weintraube here.Enjoy your visit.

Great bread varieties and friendly service, also a good place to have a coffee or juice. Dampflstangerl are my kids favourite ...

My employer regularly uses this hotel to accommodate customers from the UK on factory visits. The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. The restaurant serves local dishes, all prepared and served to an excellent standard. Breakfast is of the continental variety with a good selection of breads, meats and cheeses.

Owned by the young couple Susi and Emanuel Weyringer, this restaurant is top of the range. Emanuel creates excellent high-class food in a very innovative way which is amazing. Excellent wine-list.For me Weyringer is one of the best restaurants in Austria. Service headed by Susi is very friendly and professional. Sitting outside on the wonderful terrace overlooking the lake is such a treat. We will always come back. Reservation is highly recommended.Dear CarlaColumna!Thank you very much for such amazing writing. We are looking forward to welcome you back in our restaurant.Yours sincerelySusi and Emanuel Weyringer

We both started with a lovely bowl of Pumpkin soup topped with roasted pumpkin seeds. My partner had the roasted corn-fed chicken breast on a bed of wild mushrooms, herbed tagliatelle in a cream sauce. I opted for the prawn spaghetti arrabiatta which wasn't spicy but had plenty of flavour albeit slightly oily. We had a lovely bottle of Austrian red wine, €25. Followed by an Italian version of Jaegermeister called Fernet Branca. Unfortunately this wasn't to our taste, it was like a minty mouthwash. The waitress repeatedly topped up our jug of water which was helpful. Total bill including an extra round of drinks came to €69. I had to get this restaurant listed on Tripadvisor as they didn't have it showing.

We ate at the Gasthaus Fischtagging based on Tripadvisor reviews. While generally satisfied, we found the reviews a bit overly generous based on our own experience. However, we also recommend it.The restaurant is situated on the outskirts of the town, amidst neighboring farms. It is a charming bucolic setting. The Gasthaus is in an attractive building and has a pleasant garden. The weather was chilly, but we ate outside anyway. Both the terrace and the restaurant were crowded that Friday night. We shared a table with an interesting couple who were also visiting the area and had a very pleasant and interesting conversation with them.I ordered the Raznjici, which I found a bit bland for this dish. I accompanied it with a stein of the keller bier, which was pretty typical for that style. My wife had the Tafelspitz, which she described as above average. Her Marillenknödel was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Portion sizes for our dishes were normal, but at other tables we saw a similarity between body sizes and portion sizes.I do not know if this was a larger crowd than a normal Friday night, but something made the service rather slow and inattentive. We repeatedly had to call the waitress and ask for items that should have been on the table or were forgotten. It was a satisfying meal, if not memorable. Our two meals came to 36,50€, about average for the Salzburg area.

By accident we came by this lovely place and enjoyed the 4-course menu, which we can only recommend. It was one of our best Italian experiences so far.. they uses a lot of ingredients we didn’t associate with Italian food. However, we loved every bite of it.

We had a great meal at Bierheuriger and the atmosphere was very comfortable and fun. They have other choices than just authenic Austrian food and for a great price. Our waitress, Eva, was very friendly and nice. One of the better restaurants that we tried during our stay.
