We had heard much about this restaurant high up in the wilderness. The restaurant is very rustic with just a few tables in an old farmhouse. The service was very pleasant but a bit sloppy. The table was not cleaned between the meals and looked quite messy in the end. We had the lunch menue that lacked imagination, all dishes tasted more or less the same with a fishy flavor everywhere. The dessert was the best part but there was too much of it all served at once. Does not measure up to its reputation or perhaps they just had a bad day.

Visiting Montbrun for a pumpkin festival, we came across this delightful restaurant in the centre of the village. Professionally appointed and decked out for Halloween, the lunch menu was varied and interesting, service good and the food nicely prepared.Well worth a detour.

We stumbled across this place after nearly running out of diesel after going up Mont Ventoux. It was market day in Bedoin and the atmosphere was great. We did not have much money but the children and I had great pizza and my wife a very good salad. Would recommend it.

We stopped for lunch in the beautiful village Montbrun les bains and took the carpaccio which was actually very good, fresh and well seasoned . Staff is a little classic 'frenchy' slow but the meal was good . Cheap tables and chairs in this small place along the main road . This is not a restaurant to wine and dine but rather ideal for a quick meal .

What more could you want, sitting on the terrace with a perfect view of Mont Ventoux?Jean Michel is the perfect host and now that Ludovic has joined him as the chef this restaurant has improved yet again. There are different menus to choose from and you can mix and match as you like. The restaurant has gained the Bottin Gourmand accolade this year and it shows. Also new to the establishment is an extensive wine cellar that Jean Michel has built up.This is a lovely place to have meal whether it be for lunch or dinner and we will always visit when we are in this area.

Interesting tours for cyclers pass by here. So there are many. The terrace is nice, good view. Service friendly but stressed. We had the worst spaghetti bolognese in a long time. Other dishes looked better. The dessert and the coffee were ok.

The restaurant was a welcome haven.Food was so so and the service the same but given the busy nature if the town it was probably as much as could be expected.

The place we wanted to eat at was booked out (it was market day) so we ended up at Le Louvre on the square. The 23.50 euro menu was perfectly OK but not at all memorable. Service quite slow. It's a good place to sit and people watch, but next time we'll book early at the other place.

We stumbled upon Le Petit Jardin when visiting the lovely village of Sault, to see the lavender fields of Provence, unfortunately we were a bit late and most had been harvested already. Anyway this lovely find for lunch made up for the scenery not being quite as we might have hoped, still stunning even without the lavender in bloom. It's a beautiful building, with lovely views and the food was so delicious. Highly recommend and would go again.

Traveling the lavender trail, we ended up in Sault at lunch time. Walking through this nice little town, we came upon Le Provencal and were seated quickly with no reservation. We both ordered the formule (15.50 euros) and had an excellent aubergine terrine as an entree and a good leg of duck as our plat. Although seated outside on a hot day, we were comfortable with the covered exterior. Pleasant service and convivial atmosphere. A good place.
