Negocio con 25 años siempre innovando entre su preciada cocina tradicional y su fusión de cocina Moderna.Siempre con la calidad de todos los productos de Liebana.Un Ambiente de lo familiar. Propietarios José y Alex.
I live abroad and travel to Santander 2-4 times a year. Every time I am there I go to this Meson nearly every day as I love the Rabas they serve. They have a great variety of pinchos and tapas. They also offer a set 3course menu at a great price. The owners could not be more attentive and the service is always excellent. They has gone as far as opening the kitchen out of hours to make me a tapa of Rabas knowing how much I like them and that was my last day in Santander. Amazing

Looking for a seafood restaurant in the fishing district of Santander? Look no further, you have arrived and you will hit! Specialties of seafood and fresh fish direct from the market prepared in a delicious way while maintaining the flavor of our sea.
Yes, this is not a romantic place. Unlike stated in other reviews, they do have table cloth and tissues, but the setting is far from romantic or cosy.Go there to have seafood and leave when you are done - but people are friendly and the 75⬠marisquerÃa (âtourist platterâ) we shared (2 of us) was fresh, honest and abundant.Thank you for your opinion, we thank you for valuing our products, which indeed are always abundant, and above all fresh and of good quality. With regard to your comment on the romantic atmosphere, we think that love and romanticism goes beyond where the couple is, and has more to do with the moment :-)In any case it's just an opinion. Thank you for visiting us. See you again, or so we hope! :-)

Great value menu del dia, 14.50 eur at the weekend and 10eur during the week. Starter salad bowl of leaves with blue cheese and ham was delicious and fresh, not too much dressing and perfect or you could have the soup, there seemed to be new choices each day.Mains one day were turbot which was excellent, the next day the choice was seabass or steak, both of which were very good. Desert was homemade crema caramel / tiramisu or ice cream if you wished. Also included was wine and water so it was incredible value for money considering the quality of the food. The staff were very good and happy to help and explain everything. The food is better than what you would expect so go enjoy this local gem.

Good Italian restaurant. Good pizzas and good salads. The service not bad...one of the waiters talks loud and in some bad humor but you can feel like in real Italian restaurant :) also she recommended just order one pizza (we wanted two... It had been too much) thanks!

I have been a fan of El Nuevo Molino for many years and have enjoyed many wonderful dinners there. However, our last meal there surpassed any previous ones. The chef has managed to devise a completely new menu, full of surprises, whilst still using local ingredients and quirky adaptations of regional specialities. There are wonderful inventions, such as razor clams in chickpea stew broth, sea urchin infused fried egg...so many new items, that we decided to try the "long and lean" tasting menu. It was all absolutely fantastic and demonstrated the artistry and imagination of the chef. The traditional items are still offered, and other tables were mixing and matching new and old.As usual, service was perfect - professional and yet very welcoming at the same time and on a unseasonable chilly evening, it was wonderful to sit next to a log fire! Now we have tried all the new dishes, I would certainly recommend all of them, but I also suggest not to ignore the local beef carpaccio, fried squid and cheese ice cream from the traditional menu. The fish main courses are always sublime, only the freshest fish is used and cooked absolutely perfectly. To summarise; this is my idea of a perfect restaurant: beautiful building, wonderful staff, amazing food and one of the best priced Michelin starred restaurant that I have visited.

Having read the great reviews on trip advisor we decided to book a table for Sunday. We were delighted to find we had one of the best tables overlooking the sea. The restaurant was very busy. The place was buzzing! Every dish was beautifully cooked, fresh and utterly delicious. Although it's a bit tricky to find, this restsurant is very well worth the effort. It doesn't look much from the outside but inside its a gem! Thanks to everyone at El Cazurro for a lovely experience.

It is a surprising place! Out in the middle of the country, not far from Santander, this place offers excellent paellas and quite a good service. The choice of wines is good and the value for money is average. If you are looking for a good place to eat paella in Cantabria, this is it!

After being treated unprofessionally by the waiters from the moment we arrived, we waited ages to order and we were rushed while ordering.. Everyones food arrived at different times and furthermore after having been advertised a 'vegetarian' paella i found fish in it.. Not even any apologies..Such a surprise to find it as second on santanders restaurants seen as so many others are of much higher level..

Adjusted one of their specials to suit vegetarians. Enjoyed a dish of scrambled eggs with caremelised onions and mushrooms.
