Welcome to our traditional Kentish pub, with a twist, in the heart of the picturesque village of Wingham just outside Canterbury. Enjoy a warm welcome when you arrive at our family run inn to Drink, Eat and Sleep. Full of character, oak beams and cosy fir
Lovely warm welcome, accommodation very comfortable and well providedFood on offer excellent in terms of choice, taste, presented very well...and importantly delicious. It was well served by polite and helpful young staff, who were engaging but equally not overly present. Wine list was good. We will recommend it to friends and we will be returning.Thank you, and we are pleased to receive your feedback, and look forward to your next visit.regards,Marilyn.

The upstars room in the No Name Deli
There are some great little cafes for lunch in Sandwich, but wanting a change, we tried upstairs at le bistro. We were instantly struck by the lack of friendliness but decided to stay as it was raining. We found the menu expensive for lunch so we ordered the cheapest thing which was the baguettes at 6.50 each. The description sounded lovely but when they arrived we were very underwhelmed. They were very small, dry, and served in a basket with very little filling inside. They took such a long time coming we expected them to be special. They must be making a big profit on them! We didnt complain because the staff were very brusque and frankly, a little scary! We wont be going back.

Brasserie on the Bay is located in the Bay of Sandwich. We pride ourselves on delivering quality both in the produce and the experience. We like the experience to be informal, relaxed and above all we take pride in what we do. The Brasserie has been award
The Brasserie on the Bay has splendid service; a wide variety of ales, lagers, and beers; and a delightful assortment of entrees for dinner. The atmosphere was relaxed and low key and the views of the nearby English Channel were remarkable. The food was delicious, the service was quick, and the prices were quite fair. If you play golf in Sandwich and you stay at The Lodge at Princes Golf Club, stay there for dinner. It's simply a relaxed and delightful setting for any meal.

Following the launch of our restaurant, The Salutation offers a wealth of dining options, from dawn âtil dusk. With the North Wing opened up to accommodate our state of the art kitchen, our dining rooms fully refurbished, and our tearoom given a fresh sta
My friend and I visited this restaurant for an afternoon tea. We are both Coeliacs so therefore gluten free was required. Lovely surroundings, pleasant staff.Four fillings of sandwichâs were presented to us, which were pleasant but we would have preferred to have chosen the fillings we wanted. The sweet items were well presented, and very tasty. Within the price of the afternoon tea was admission to the award winning gardens. The only negative comment about the visit, was that we was sitting in one of the restaurants eating our tea, music playing. The room was nearby the kitchen, staff within the kitchen were shouting very loudly and this went on for some time. Eventually they had to shut the door of the dining room to shut out the noise!
