Sandanski (Bulgarian: Сандански, formerly known as Sveti Vrach, Bulgarian: Свети Врач, until 1947) is a town and a recreation centre in south-western Bulgaria, part of Blagoevgrad Province. Named after revolutionary Yane Sandanski, it is situated in a valley at the foot of Pirin Mountains, along the banks of Sandanska Bistritsa River. Sandanski is about 20 km away from Bulgaria-Greece border and 100 km away from Aegean sea.

Had dinner 3-4 times.Nothing special about the food,very overpriced and rude behavior from staff.The only plus is the secure parking outside.

Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich, mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Bedienung war hervorragend, das Essen,(bulgarische Küche) bis auf d. "Parlenka" war sehr gut!Wir waren am späten Nachmittag da und es war angenehm ruhig. Möglicherweise ist abends (Live Musik etc) voller und lebhafter, wer es mag, aber empfehlenswert.

Location is on the outskirts of town. The place has expanded but feels quite tight inside and less spacious than before. Atmosphere and decor are lovely and fitting the origin of the region. Fridays and Saturdays are offering live music with orchestra and singer/s. Can get very noisy which is fun but a little disturbing at the same time if you're trying to have a conversation. Food is amazing, a bit overpriced for the region but still delicious. Great variety of dishes. Dessert is great, various, super yummy and on the house! :)Must try!

We arrived at noon just for lunch. The restaurant was not full of people. When we sat on our table the came and prepared it for us thus we made our order. After 20 minutes of waiting and watching several customers eating their food before us when they had only ten minutes in the restaurant we asked a waiter what about our order. Needless to say that he didnât speak English and fortunately we found someone who could speak Greek and translate to him. He said to us that the order had been lost and that we should make our order again and that it will be ready in ten minutes. Of course it wasnât. We waited for around 20 minutes again. Thank god the food was very tasteful and we kind of forgot the bad service. At the end the gave as 4 chocolate soufflé for compliment which were really good. The menu is very nice and has options for every king is taste, but the should really improve their service ...Thank you for your words, your opinion is very important to us. It is the thing that makes us continue to be ever so good at what we do.
