Sanary has 5467 pizzerias but after more than one year living here, this is the best one. The service is of the highest quality. Highly recommended

This place is fairly new to Sanary, and really new to us. Recommended by my nephew, who liked the pretty cool vibe, we booked a table for 4 adults and a young child. You'd think you were in a Manchester Northern Quarter bar, with the decor and the wall-writing, and there is a lot of English 'stuff' about - but quite nicely done and not trying too hard. The furniture is characterful and the overall design pretty well put together.Staff are attentive and efficient, and we got a drinks order in straight away and a good overview of the menus too - no actual menus, just the options on the chalkboards, which keeps the whole feel simple and easy.Strawberry mojitos and an interesting craft beer from Luberon, for drinks - the beer bottle thoughtfully served in its own little ice bucket, and with a branded glass from the brewery. Nice touch.Three of us went for the black burger (it's the bread that's kinda black - the burger itself is chicken with bacon), served with a very generous salad and home-cooked chips. One went for the salmon, and our littlest guest was promptly served with chicken bites and chips. The place really fills up at 9pm, and it's not in our experience a 'walk in' kind of restaurant. One negative to mention - there is a smoking area outside in the back garden, but all the gorgeous smokers just gather barely at the door to it, so if you're anywhere near the back of the restaurant you will get their second-hand smoke.

Family run for 60+ years. Starters of green salad and Shrimp (heads and shells on) Mayonnaise were substantial and very good. She had a perfectly cooked Sea Bass (whole) served on a vegetable compote and I had the Escalope de Veau in a Mushroom Cream gravy served with Frites (fries), both absolutely delicious meals. I finished with a fantastic Crème Brule and Cafe Elongee (cafe Americana). Total bill including a â¬13 carafe of Rose wine was â¬70. Very recommended.

What a fun little place. The owners are so warm. Gigi does the cooking while his wife Vicenza runs around non stop entertaining you while taking orders, cleaning tables and serving Limoncello on the house to customers after their dinner! No pizzas here but their bruschettas are delicious. I went here twice during my stay in Sanary and thoroughly enjoyed both visits.

We had the 40⬠menu with the foie gras to start, followed by the entrecôte, then the toblerone parfait. The starter was fine although I personally don't think macarons go well with foie gras. The entrecôte was cooked fine but I've had better cuts of meat. The dessert was superb. My sister ordered the gambas prawns for main which came with noodles and was very disappointed to be served only 3 prawns! The noodles were also very salty. What let this busy restaurant down was the terribly slow service. There was 1 waiter serving plus the 2 owners. The young waiter tried his best but they simply needed more staff. They got our steaks mixed up and forgot to bring us water. The female owner looked so grumpy. Nothing spectacular...Thanks for "The starter was fine", "was cooked fine", "The dessert was superb"!Indeed, the prawn wok is served with three beautiful prawns. For you noodles are too salty, for others not enough, where is the truth? If you do not like to wait, if you do not understand that the traditional cuisine with fresh products requires time, there are also fast food in France!Be careful not to write nonsense, there is only one owner and it is the cook, that you have not seen !

We came here on the recommendation of our hotel owner and were not disappointed! This is a small restaurant serving a daily changing menu so everything is fresh. I had crab ravioli which was exquisite and cod served on fennel which was just fantastic. Madame serving was great fun, and our lack of French and her lack of English made it quite interesting trying to translate the chalk board menu! The portions are very generous and after 3 courses, copious wine and coffee we felt fit to burst! A fantastic restaurant serving seasonal French food, do not miss out!

We have been in Sanary Sur Mer for a week and ate at Restaurant du Theatre three times because it was so incredible. We could find no other restaurant with such wonderful food and an amazingly warm and friendly couple who create a peak experience at this intimate restaurant. Do not miss the scallop carpaccio and the mussels with rosemary and thyme, as well as the Bandol rose`. All food is cooked over an open wood fire and the taste is to die for! Many many thanks for such wonderful meals and great company! Merci beaucoup from the long voyagers.

This restaurant turned out to be even better than expected. The service was excellent, very professionall, helpful and friendly. We chose the more expensive set menu, and the food was delicious. The restaurant was packed full and it was definitely necessary to book in advance. I would love to go back!

This restaurant is ideally located in the square (place) housing a 2 meter high gold-plated copy of the Statue of Liberty in the village of St Cyr sur Mer, a coastal resort between Bandol and La Ciotat. The restaurant's building and the platanes give good shade from the burning sun.Everything worked well, the 1+2 person team does a good job in the busy lunch hours. Salads seem to be very popular here, along with the formule du jour. The total price of our lunch was reasonable in local terms, and the quality (both content and service) matched the price well. There is a big parking lot (payable) just around the corner, which makes it easy to visit the restaurants at this town square. Having lunch at the fairly vibrant town square is a good alternative to doing the same at the port and beach sections of St Cyr sur Mer.
