Has until now been reviewed as part of the hotel with same name, but should be treated seperately since it is a 2 star Michelin.
Four of us, visiting from California, opted for the âterroirsâ menu. It was delicious, as good as a 3 star Michelin restaurant we ate in San Sebastián the night before. The first course, asparagus in pastry, was solid. The lamb was fantastic and the desserts kept coming. Highly recommended!

This was not our first choice, but since the first choice was closed we decided to give it a try. Glad we did since the food was excellent, the view relaxing and the service efficient and friendly. Give it a try too, you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful Basque walled town on a charming river offered a great eating experience in late January. Relais De La Nive situated on a river offered friendly staff, excellent service and delicious food. Our meal started with pumpkin soup that was smooth and buttery. We moved on to tender baked chicken in a mushroom sauce, served with delicious haricot verts cooked with garlic and tomato and potatoes au gratin. Dessert was a well made blueberry tart. Our white wine, a crisp, dry white was from the Basque Country.
