We discovered this Italian restaurant steps away from our hotel (close to the train station). When our server asked if we wanted an English or French menu I said English for my husband but French for me as I wanted to practice. The server made a point of telling me how wonderful it was that I wanted to use my French. Nice! We were treated with complimentary appies with our drinks: little pesto toasts with tuna paté and diced tomato on top. Delicious. My husband had the linguini gorgonzola with Chorizo (the daily special) and I had the salmon lasagna. Wonderful!! It was served with a fresh salad of greens and lox, and a light dressing with a hint of anchovies and lemon. We shared the feature dessert: tiramisu with caramel. Heavenly.

This is a very pleasant place for dinner on a spring night with light lasting until after 10 pm. The well and simply prepared and presented, using local produce from the nearby market. The dishes were free from over-complicated sauces and over-reaching ambition. A very warm place to enjoy a first-rate meal.

Un restaurant au calme, à proximité du cente des expositions et de l'aéroport. Disposition originale avec plusieurs petites salles en enfilade qui permettent une ambiance calme et chaleureuse. Très bonne cuisine traditionnelle. Je recommande vivement.

Had lunch here, went with a main course each and a sweet crepe for desert. They brought out a little slice of a really tasty crepe as an asume bouche which was lovely and spicey. I then had a gallete with mustard cream sauce and sausage whilst my wife had a prawn, scallop and chilli one. They also had more traditional choices if you fancied them. Both were delicious and I would happily have returned for dinner. It was also reasonably priced. Definitaly it's one to book though, it was chucking it down and we were lucky to get a table for lunch, but for dinner I think you'd need to make a reservation.

Passing by in France, a friend recommended this place to me. I am usually quite fussy with food but this time I really wasn't disappointed! the food was excellent! fresh food and typically french. 1 waitress and 1 chef which makes it a very friendly restaurant, the waitress was lovely, friendly and warm and the cook came to ask us what we thought about the food. the price was reasonable too.I highly recommend it! this is my new favourite spot in Rennes.

Compared with the many other creperies we visited in Rennes, this was our least favorite. The gimmick of naming their crepes after famous Georges didn't improve the food, and prices were higher than at better creperies.

Located the restaurant via TripAdvisor which was walk-able from the hotel. It could not have been a better choice - we had booked the last table for 6 people with our French friends! The choices and quality of the meals were wonderful and no issues with our likes and dislikes, in fact some dishes were changed to accommodate no meat or garlic! We had a wonderful night with lots of French and English spoken! The lady who served us was a delight! Would definitely return next time in Rennes.

At 12 o'clock, we have a menu of the day that changes every day. With to two starters, two main dishes and two desserts. Everything is fresh , local and seasonal. (13 ou 17 euros) In the evening we have a 25 euros menu with a choice of three starters, thr
Donât let the simple setting of this restaurant fool you - the food is top notch with reasonable pricing. For a first course, we had gazpacho with crème fraiche and layers of sliced radishes with herbed goat cheese and a caramel sauce. Our main courses were a local white fish with a rice pilaf and tomatoes and duck breast over a sweet potato purée and plum sauce. Our desserts were a pear soup with whipped cream and an almond cake with a thin layer of whipped raspberry icing and bars of semi-sweet dark chocolate. The service was great and friendly. The total bill with two glasses of a nice local white wine was â¬60.00. Reservations required. We would definitely go back in the future. Note: in Brittany, it seems to be the rule that there is only one sitting so the table is yours for the night.Thank you so much.In Brittany & in France, the restaurants use to have two sitting. But at Le 2 rue des Dames, we just have one, so yes : the table is yours for the night (but please let us go to bed, lol)See you.Julien.

This is the kind of restaurant I could imagine eating at every day, were I to live and work in Rennes. It is small, crowded and friendly, and our food was unpretentious, very tasty and extremely good value. We both chose the lunch special, chicken breast and potatoes, and it was great, perfectly complimented by the house red. I couldn't resist the superb chocolate lava cake dessert. If I'm ever in Rennes again, this is where you'll find me!

Our Chef Arnaud Leroy invites you to taste his authentic and creative cuisine. Every day, you could appreciate the Salad of the day, the "cocotte" or the kebab from the market. The restaurant will seduce you by its chic ambience. You will come for a roman
Menu, fixed price board and specials chalk board to choose from. We ate every night during our three nights' stay and every course was excellent. Very friendly, helpful staff who spoke English for non french speakers. Underground car park with lift direct to restaurant.
