Super cute place!!! Came in after visiting many chateaux; we were hungry! Staff was super nice and helpful. We took the 15e table d'hôte with 3 services. Quick service, great homemade quality, and they gave us great advice on our plans for the next day!! :) highly recommended.

I came across this French restaurant while walking to the cathedral and decide to have dinner here. Menu is mostly classic French dishes. I ordered the cassoulet with sea food. It came with rice. The cassoulet was nicely cooked with cream and a variety of seafood.Waitress was a bit rush and she forgot that I asked for the bill. I had to remind another waiter again before I finally got it.

We dined at this restaurant on 3 occasions this week, in fact on 3 consecutive evenings, which is a good indication that we liked it. This was not only because it was near our hotel, but because we liked the food and wine, the service was good, and the pricing reasonable (not as expensive as many other restaurants in Blois). Our favourite dish was the meat dish on skewers, which came with a nice sauce, lettuce and small potatoes. Last night we were also offered gratis a locally made ketchup, which is far superior to the supermarket product: it is finely flavoured. There are a selection of 9 wines available by the glass for EUR3.50 - the Cheverny Salvard chardonnay is first rate. The restaurant is located directly opposite the Blois railway station.

We were initially impressed by the skill and aplomb with which the sommelier poured a bottle of crémant - our aperitif - into 9 glasses, giving each of us exactly the same amount. We were also impressed by the good value and quality of the set menu we chose, and the wines from an excellent wine list. Nice atmosphere. Relaxed dining.

A charming, familiy orientated restaurant in the centre of Blois, that does good food and a good price.
Lovely place for lunch - very cosy and friendly staff. The salmon was cooked really well and the cheese plate generous.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for somewhere to have dinner. By far the best meal we've had while on our 6 week holiday! I had the crawfish ravioli which was out of this world delicious. The other meals were fabulous too! Service was excellent - would definitely go back again. Menu also had english translation which was a bonus.

We wandered looking for a place to dine after the castle visit just hoping to find a last minute table⦠Is a small restaurant with very simple decor, very white and red.We had a bonito carpaccio with Cancale oysters dressed with apple vinaigrette; asparagus with pea mousseline and quail pieces; both entrée were appetizing; as mains we had duck breast cooked with ginger and soy sauce and served with sweetcorn fritters; the duck was OK but the base was a bit too oversauced (and oily) and the fritters were (some of them) black burned⦠the lamb with the local beans (Comtesse de Chambord) was tasty. For desserts we chose the gingerbread and the tarte tatin, both sweet and perfect for a flourish end. Prices are average like any other eatery (we chose the 33,50 menu which includes a starter, main and dessert, drinks are separate) and the service was good, very busy at times specially if is just one person who takes care the whole dining room, serving, bartending and cashing. This is a very good address for a casual lunch or dinner in this town.

This lovely bar and restaurant has an excellent location, having a terrace looking over Blois. If you choose to sit inside however you have the joy of watching the owner freshly prepare your meal in front of you.Good home cooked regional food and a very welcoming atmosphere from the husband and wife owners who are you hosts.A typically French gem.

Quite a unique, rather quaint restaurant with a cozy interior and a very nice team. The menu includes salads, 'planches' (oven-baked white bread with pizza-type topping) and crêpes. Everything is very tasty and the service excellent! Make sure you book a table, especially if you're more than 2 - the restaurant is really very small.

Found this delightful restaurant through TripAdvisor and had a great dining experience, helped enormously by the owner who explained the menu, took our order and joked with us most of the evening. He was very tolerant of my terrible French, but choosing a decent bottle of red wine seemed to make him my friend for ever. The atmosphere was great. We only had a main course because we were suffering from a week of over indulgence in French restaurants, but what great dishes they were. My chicken from the specials board, served with morel mushrooms and shrimps was extraordinarily intensely flavoured. My wife ordered the T-bone veal steak, which was enormous and very tasty, Both dishes were accompanied by well cooked jacket potatoes with sour cream. The wine was of course excellent, or at least the owner said it was! Seriously, they have a limited wine list but it looks good quality and is reasonably priced, considering that this is a tourist town. We sat outside on the pavement, but there is plenty of seating inside and under umbrellas at the back. It's a back street location, but not that far from the main square and the shopping area. It's very well worth while making the effort to find it. Although it wasn't full the night we ate there, it had been the evening before so it would be wise to make a reservation.
