Stopped in because it was the only place open so late, and it turned out to be an excellent meal. Staff were warm and friendly, didn't speak English but were very kind and patient with my struggling French. Food was outstanding, all three courses were top notch. The scallops with spiced apple was a particularly brilliant combination. Very casual, comfortable atmosphere.L'équipe de Chez Lucien est ravi de vous avoir fait passer un bon moment et vous remercie pour votre commentaire.à très vite sur La Croix rousse!

In a magnificent building of the 16th century, with a panoramic view dominating the Sâone, built in very beautiful stones, vaults are valued with 2 creations of Lyonnais artists to bring an exceptional touch without distorting the essence first . With its
Came here with 10 colleagues on a lovely summer evening. Most of us were surprised by the lovely terrace setting with jazzy background music in front of a historical boathouse .The service was nice but sometimes not reachable. However, when ordered, food or drinks were coming fast. The menu is small. There is a dinner menu option available for 35⬠with choice between 2 starters, 2 mains and 5 desserts or cheese. I personally went for this option and had a nice olive tart with beef followed by herb crusted sea bream fillet. The cheese platter was not their strengths but the rest tasted well. Overall clear reco

Love the welcome, the decor, the food, the informality. The menu changes often. In summer there is a great terrace, in winter a wood fire. One of my favourite restaurants, stands out from the mass.

The most amazing place especially on a summer night when you've bagged yourself an outside seat. Lovely staff, great food, amazing wine all add up to the most incredibly time. Don't miss out on the cheese course - definitely worth it even if you are think you are full. Would come back over and over again.

Arrived with a valid The Fork / La Fourchette confirmation for Saturday 13.00 - only to be told they have not registered the booking. They blamed this service to be unreliable.Well, why then participate when you know it fails ?Having been not offered any assistance like an alternative booking nearby, we moved away, and being fairly late, enjoyed a calory-free afternoon with growling stomachs.Dear Thomas, We apologize for the inconvenient. The service was indeed flawed, as we never received the confirmation email from LaFourchette - for which they apologized to us.We were fully booked on this day and were unfortunately not able to serve you, as we deeply regret it. There was nothing we could do, we hope you understand the situation. All the best, JCAA

Had lunch the other day at the terrace of Saint Cyr. Perfect location and cosy place with some chic and some hip elements. The menu was the classical French and that is great as superior, not too much modernism but just the classic which is appreciated. All was cooked to perfection so absolutely will return here !

We arrived without a reservation at 20.00, crazy I know, but we were given a table inside and welcomed warmly never the less. All the waiting staff spoke very good English and all were delightfully charming and helpful. Menus which change monthly were offered in English or French and dishes explained before ordering and again when delivered. The menu is a limited table d'hote or a la carte with choice of 3 entrees, 4 mains and 3 deserts for 33 euro (optional cheese course 7 euro). There's also a 45 euro degustation menu as well. The wine list is quite varied and includes wines by the glass, caraffe as well as bottles catering for all budgets. Check their website for the current menu. All dishes were excellent, well prepared and totally delicious. Highly recommendedHello, We are so happy to hear that you liked our restaurant ! Your satisfaction is our priority ! See you soon at Aromatic's restaurant !

I ordered cured meat tapas, I was served a pre-sliced, fridge-cold HUGE portion of meat. Obviously, the meat was stuck together and dry. The cheese tapas and the bread were good.As main I chose something from the specials board. Mushroom tagliatelle. I received a hideous dish of tagliatelle floating in some awful liquid (see pic).Very disappointed.Thank you for your message. We owe you an apologize for the meal. Weâre sorry you didnât like it. Our dedicated chefs bring special attention to the cooking process and the final presentation.See you soon to explore new culinary flavors.

Restaurant - Wine Bar - Cellar Cooking of the Market
Most recently we ate lunch on the terrace here on market day. It was bustling, and offers a great vantage point for people-watching. The menu du marché is excellent value - really fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and tasty. The portion size is not so big that you can't manage three courses if you want to. They cater well for kids, with homemade nuggets or a fillet of fish and potatoes or vegetables followed by ice cream. The environment is smart without being pretentious. This is my local and I am delighted that it exists. In the evening, the food is a little more expensive, but the quality remains excellent and so it offers good value for money.

Driving from Geneva to Provence we decided to treat ourselves to our one and only 3 Michelin star restaurant. We were not disappointed. The restaurant shines out brightly from itsroundabout setting decorated with murals of the great man and neon signs. Perhaps a bit kitsch but fun and heightens the anticipation of somewhere special. The service was outstanding from the bellboy to greet us and the knowledgeable and attentive waiters. As you would expect. The food is traditional French with a twist. We had a two course menu at â¬125 of different sorts of foie gras followed by a sea-bass en croute. But thatâs not all. With champagne you get two amuse bouche. Followed by a vichyssoise with truffle. After the two courses there is a magnificent cheese board then a selection of desserts. We both had tarts - raspberry and fig - both sitting on a delicious crumbly pastry. Finally fresh mint tea from the garden was served with three delicious petits fours. Impeccable. The only strange thing was we ordered a taxi from the waiter who then disappeared. But the bellboy to the rescue as he had a cab outside! A real treat. Dear sir, we're very proud to feel your comments and satisfaction. Thank you very much. Best regards
