Perched on the one of the most beautiful village of Provence. Our restaurant is welcoming you all year long with our wonderful view on the Valley of l'Arc. Our Chef of cuisine and owner Dan Bessoudo is realizing a creative & sensible cuisine, axed on the
We last ate 2 years ago at this truly fabulous terrace restaurant when it had quirky, provencal-meets-modern-bohemian furniture... Since then Dan has bought and transformed this stunning eerie into the super-sophisticated, ultra comfortable & modern. Lovely attentive service... not all fully trained! The view towards and over Marseille is breathtaking. The Michelin-starred chef has remained and he is now creating even more amazing food. Every dish took our breath for its look and taste... We chose the Bois set menu at â¬72... Every morsel was outstanding with the scallops ranking as one of the best dishes we have ever eaten. Treat yourself to a very good wine... it's worth it!!!

Located at the top of the hill in Ventabren, the restaurant is in the village nature park. The view down towards the L'Etang de Berre lake is very nice. There are tennis courts and kids playground equipment just outside the restaurant. They have outdoor seating on the terrace as well as in the garden. Food is good and service is polite and friendly.

The L'Escale des Vins is located on D7N about half way between Mallemort and Lambesc. It is in a modern, attractive building with perhaps the most unusual and beautiful flooring we have seen in this area of France. The food is priced a little higher than the usual 14-16 euro menus found in most towns along the way. I had a large scallop on raviolis in a cream sauce with leeks (19 euros). It was large enough to be fully satisfying all by itself. My wife had two scallops with julienne vegetables in a crispy crepe bowl (15 euros). It too was large enough to be fully satisfying. Both dishes were beautifully presented. I ordered a 1/2 liter of local rose which was very good and priced at only 6 euros. Seating is available outside on a shaded porch or inside. The restroom was spotlessly clean. We recommend this restaurant if you want a lunch priced a little above average but with food and wine that are way, way above average. Bon appetit!

Well Rognes is a lovely little Provence village a step away from the traditional touristic circuits, so little tourist and of course a bit less to see. For people who like the quiet charms and walking this area is perfect. As for wine lovers they'll be enchanted with the local wines they can taste locally and buy at the cooperative down the road and also directly with the local producers strew all around rognes. Now there are very few restaurants and cafés there and the Piano Gourmand is a pleasant surprise. It has three rooms inside and two outside courtyards in summer. Food is simple but nice an das its a family held restaurant the cooking is done by them. A large pizza oven sits in the first room and even some meats are cooked in it. Local dishes and yummy crispy pizzas are available - Wines are well chosen and service is friendly even when the places is packed , because it does get packed, so book. The owner of this restaurant has been collecting old labels, sign post, enamel adverts and objets for decades and they constitute and very colorful and amusing decoration. Pricing is fair. Enjoy

I really wanted to be super positive about an interesting new place in Lambesc but, pending a return visit sometime, it is not quite right yet. The mix of starters was fine, but the main course - a tagine of lamb - didn't make the grade. The lamb was very slightly cold in the middle and I fear I heard a microwave in the open kitchen, but the weakest part was the last second addition of some sauteed onions with raisins. I had expected the raisins to be cooked with the lamb to render a sweet succulent end result, but it was not to be.

We came here with 3 adults and 2 young children and ate out on the beautiful patio. Wonderful food choices - try the salmon! - from a specially crafted menu. The staff are gracious and helpful. Good find!

We had an outstanding lunch today. They pride themselves on local (Provençal) dishes and ingredients. We chose the menu marché which was excellent. Each dish was prepared to perfection. The service was attentive and at exactly the right pace. We chose to sit outside on their terrace which was perfect for a warm Spring day. The prices were reasonable especially given the quality. Well worth a visit!

Aisde from one truly excellent restaurant in Saint Cannat, the town has never offered much choice for dining, so I am delighted to have "discovered" Les Braises Rouges. My dinner, grilled loup and a carrot soufflé were well prepared, and the house wine, Chateau de Beauprès from Saint Cannat, is one I like. My husband chose lamb kidneys which suited him fine. The service was friendly and professional and there's a large parking lot just in front. The carte offers pizza that looked fantastic, and grilled meats, chicken, etc. We paid about 40 euros, including 2 glasses of wine and service. Will certainly return soon!

Excellent set meal for a group of 40 of us, in a beautiful setting in the hills outside Aix-en-Provence.An amuse-bouche, followed by smoked and marinated salmon with zucchini mousse, then guinea fowl with a mushroom sauce, dauphinoise potatoes and vegetables, then warm goats cheese and finally raspberry and vanilla macaron on a red fruit coulis. Lovely food, well presented.....but one of us is gluten-free, and the restaurant had been advised several days in advance. Gluten-free did not mean food items were substituted, they were simply omitted - no bread, no alternative to the dauphinoise potatoes. The service was very patchy at times; even though the gluten-free one of us did not have any dauphinoise potatoes, halfway through eating the main course, the waitress rushed up to take the meal away saying that it shouldn't have been served. After a discussion with another waitress, the meal was returned and pronounced ok. Heaven help anyone with a severe nut allergy. With attention to detail, the Mas d'Entremont could be excellent.
