Catalan farmhouse located in the Garrotxa, between the valleys of Hostoles and Llemena, surrounded by woods. Place to enjoy our dishes with traditional base, proximity i quality products, in any of our reserved. Ideal for celebrations, meetings Dinners ar
An adventure to get to so that your anticipation increases. Great location when you get there - well worth the bumps and scrapes!Great hospitality with fun, attentive and professional service. Wonderful food - and lots of it. Our table of 4 had rabbit, lamb, sardines and cod for mains. An eclectic and varied Catalonian menu for sure. All delicious. Then just went off piste for dessert with a traditional choice - had no idea what it was beforehand but was a real treat. Wrapped up with espresso on the balcony made it hard to leave.Do yourself a favour and make the effort.

Weâre (craft) beer lovers. Coming from a short hike and strolling through Cantonigros we found El Roc and expected a ânormalâ restaurant. His selection of local beers was so convincing that we returned the day after for some more, including some tips for beer bars in Barcelona. Merci!

Just trying to cook good, light, natural and passionate. The way of we doing that is asking about allergies or unlike ingredients and setting a surprise tasting menu.
Opened especially for us (and another couple from l`Avenc) as other restaurants were closed. Owner is also the chef and waiter - a really nice man whose pride in all he does in evident. Delicious food - highly recommended.

Restaurante situada en medio del bonito Collsacabra . Carnes de la zona. Ambiente familiar. Acogedor y rustico.
Saw the reviews and decided to stop for an early lunch in while we were in the area. We arrived about 1pm and the restaurant filled just after we got there. A good sign because it seemed many were locals and knew what they liked. Two of us had fish which was good but we should have had the roast chicken with cheese (great winter lunch). Good enough house wine with a good bread. Great ambiance inside and friendly and helpful waitress. Great price at only about 10⬠each! Nice views of the pasture across the street. Good hours for people used to early lunch and dinner. A definite place to stop if you are in the area of Rupit sightseeing. You shouldn't miss it as it is right on the highway.

Nuestra propuesta de cocina se compone de:-Menu degustacion de temporada para los mas exigentes.-Menu corto de temporada.-Sugerencias semanales.
Once we realised the distance this restaurant was from our campsite we almost didn't go.Tavertet is a the last stop town on a glorious mountain road. A beautiful practically desserted town, this place has a veritable gem in the "Faves Comptades" The Six courses dinner (42 Euros each) - was a pure delight - the food was creative, beautiful and delicious. The two guys (one waits, the other cooks) were very friendly and very keen to speak and talk with their customers. The food, location and hospitality made this one of the most memorable meals I've had for a very long time - a perfect evening!

We were in a group plus a dog. The welcome was genuinely friendly, particularly from our bubbly Colombian waitress . At 24⬠for 3 courses, plus an amuse-bouche, the menu offered a good choice of rural Spanish food, simple ,well cooked and interesting. This is the kind of place you want to revisit ,and stay over in this charming hotel .I shall be back.
