We visited Karen Blixen's house and gardens on our way back from Kronborg Castle. It was a lovely sunny day and we thoroughly enjoyed a stroll through the lovely park and garden and to see her grave. The house and grounds are beautifully maintained with great views across the water. There is a restaurant/cafe with plenty of outside seating but we did not actually use it and neither did we go into the museum as we were short of time. I would have liked a little ore time there.

They serve big portion food dishes, I had Mexican mix dish sandwich, my friends took steak burger & chicken sandwich .. everyone was happy with their choice.I loved the licorice latte .. very Danish ..Itâs fairly close to the bus station but probably 15 min walk to the train station. The location is nice right by the water & boats all around, outdoor seating is there too.

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant as part of a business trip in June. I have never been to a restaurant like it as I normally like to know what I am eating before I choose the restaurant. What a wonderful night we had. Fabulous food and wine. Each dish had been carefully produced and tasted delicious with each wine there to compliment. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We went there because it is apparently a good seafood restaurant in this posh area called Rungsted. The restaurant itself is a nice location : at the end of the port with a fantastic view to the Oeresund channel and swedish coast. We took a seafood big plate for 2. It arrived well presented but the seafood was deep frozen. My husband does not so much like to eat mussels and oyters so we decided to share between what he eats and not.The oyster had such a bad taste, you can even imagine! I was sick during the night.... So, no, horrible food : I will not recommend

Very good quality, but taking in to consideration that this is just a small shop at the habour, then it's too expensive. You get served on paper plates, but pays what it normally cost to sit in a normal restaurant. The fish shop that is also part of the company is very good, with a huge selection of very good and fresh fish.

Worst service ever!! The food( rebeye) is not good. You need to pay 45 dkk for the little poor salad. The manager of the cafe (who is from Norway) is ridiculous. He dropped a folk on a customer without any apologies. The espresso martini costs 115 dkk and it tasts like what ever. They dropped the cocktail on a customers' pants and the manager came and showed just how " good" service they are providing. He even said, " I don't care even if you were the king." to the poor customer. What!!??!?!?!The only thing they got is the location !!! You are the one who make the choices. å¾å¤±æ!!!æç³ç³çæå¡ï¼é£ç©ï¼rebeyeï¼ä¸ç¹å¿å°é½ä¸å¥½åãå°æ²æä½ éè¦æ¯ä»45 dkkãåå¡å çç»çï¼æ¥èªæªå¨ï¼å¾èè°¬ãä»æ²¡æä»»ä½æå¡æè¯ãæµåå¡é©¬æå°¼é çä»·æ ¼ä¸º115å æï¼å³éå¾å·®ãä»ä»¬æ鸡尾é æ¾æ´å¨é¡¾å®¢ç裤åä¸ï¼ç»çæ¥äºï¼å±ç¤ºäºä»ä»¬æä¾çâä¼è´¨âæå¡ãä»çè³è¯´ï¼âå³ä½¿ä½ æ¯å½çï¼æä¹ä¸å¨ä¹ãâãä¸å¯çå»ï¼ï¼ï¼ï¼ï¼ï¼ï¼ï¼ï¼ä»ä»¬å¯ä¸å¯æ¨èçæ¯ä½ç½®!

Went for lunch in the weekend without a reservation. They found a nice table for us and they brought our drinks shortly afterwards. My wife had ordered a special piece of smørrebrød with crabmeat and shrimps. It looked lovely and tasted very nice and my wife was fullup after enjoying it. I had the Christiansøheering and a piece with smoked eel. Both very nice. It cremefraiche complemented the heering very well.

We went on a Saturday lunctime and the restaurant was rammed with Copenhageners queueing to get in - always a good sign. If you want the classic Danish lunch (frokost) with Danish open sandwiches (smørrebrød, which means buttered bread), it doesn't get any better than Slotskaelderen. A short walk from the city's famous walking street, this restaurant is small and cosy ("hyggelig"). To drink you should have a pilsner-style beer like Carlsberg or Tuborg and a snaps or akvavit. Our favourtie is red Aalborg which tastes predominately of caraway. Wine does not go with the this style of food. The staff had trouble coping with the amount of people wanting to get in but our waitress was very friendly and professional. After finding a table, you have to go out to a large table and view the smørrebrød. you choose what you want (start with 1 or 2) and then they are brought to your table.Booking is essential to avoid disapoointment.

Visited for a quick dinner with a colleague in a short business trip to Denmark.Lovely location at the harbour, I'm sure it's perfect on a warm night. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great when we visited so had to site inside where it quickly became very warm.Nice prawn cocktail starter but maybe too much lettuce for the amount of prawns and sauce. Ribeye for main was lovely, prefectly cooked and very tasty, served with a nice baked potato and salad from the salad bar. For the area the price was quite reasonable.
