Located next to Zurich airport, with view (for some tables) over the runway.Atmosphere is 'airline & flying' with a very original decoration of airline and flying-related concept (there is an old airplane in the middle of the restaurant, the menu's refer to an airplane, the welcome and service is geared around flying, there is a flight simulator, ...).Menu is quite elaborate and offers a diversity of things.Prices are midrange.Food was good and came well prepared.The service was efficient and friendly, although somehow a bit staged (it's as if the waiters and waitresses, in a cabin attendant outfit, have to perform an act).You need a car to get there, as it's too far from the airport to walk.Ideal to do a team event and/or impress friends with the uniqueness and the surreal vibe of this place.

We visited for dinner on a cool October evening and warm central fireplace added to relaxing atmosphere. Menu is heavily focused on different fondue ,cordon bleu , unique burgers and tartar starters. Pricey as most of Switzerland but attentive ,helpful service. Convenient walk from the Hotel Welcome Inn where we were staying. We had an enjoyable but simple dinner.

Was taken here by work colleagues as a leaving lunch. Service is good and the selection of food available is sufficient for most palates.My only critism is that living in the Mediterranean we like our sauces to be creamy and possibly slightly excessive, could have used a bit more sauce but that is a personal preference.Staff very pleasant and helpful, a nice little place with a cosy atmosphere.

This is an extremely expensive restaurant, about USD $80 per person for a 3 course meal without alcohol. I can't blame the restaurant for this, meat is very expensive in Switzerland. I have eaten here in the past and had good service, but this time, the service was poor - the waiter was arguing with another employee and completely forgot to bring the appetizer that I ordered.A better choice would be the Mercato Restaurant at the Hotel FlyAway, which is only a 5 minute walk away.

Only had breakfast in the restaurant but it was great. One of the better omelettes I have had recently at a hotel breakfast. A little slow on noticing people wanted coffee refills but otherwise the food was very good and a wide selection. Went for Thai foods. Not as authentic taste as I expected but it's ok. It's good for special occasions with family or a date. They have another type of restaurant for westerners. The restaurant accepts the dog only if he behaves. Also, they have a park nearby where you can walk your dog there.

Excellent service, friendly, helpful, good business lunch and others, very comfortable seating, rather quiet without unpleasant music. Dessert is a tiny bit on the sweet side but beautifully presented. The price of the business lunch is acceptable for an expensive city like Zürich. My friends have lamb, they find it good. The service is very attentive. The Kloten restaurant is bigger then the Oerlikon one but similar menusWas lunch time but not very busy - some office groups tend to come so best prebook. For the celebration of my mother's 90st birthday, she choose the "Frohsinn" which we visit every now and then only, as it is a distance from our home. The welcome was warm, gracious and accommodating, the table in the wintergarden lovingly set and the service very attentive. We were able to have a drink bevor lunch on the terrace, as the weather was very nice, which of course added to our well being. I had pre-ordered the menu and the preparation of the food was excellent, the meet (a veal roast) very tender and juicy and the presentation very appealing. It tasted excellent and the wine we had chosen was great as well. We will certainly return and can only recommend the restaurant.
