My partner and I are both vegan and we had a splendid meal each. Sadly we could manage only a main course as the portions are generous. The service was good. Our table was reserved for us and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We look forward to eating there again in the near future.Hello Fiona,Thank you for sharing your great review with us, and we are so pleased that you enjoyed our Vegan menu!Yes, please do come and join us again soon..

My wife and I would highly recommend this unusual little Restaurant that is essentially set as a pop-up in a shipping container! However, donât be put off, its incredibly well run with fantastic waiting staff that are always helpful, courteous and unobtrusive. We opted for the 10 course tasting menu, every dish appeared intermittently & never left us feeling disappointed. Only one downside, the eating areas are a little cool so take a little pullover or cardigan, nevertheless, the food was quite simply outstanding and we look forward to returning soon. NOTE: 2 x tasting menu, 2 x house wine bottles, 1 x cheese board = £200..Just saying, happy to pay but difficult to describe as particularly good value for money.

Welcome to VeroGusto, our family-run, authentic and award-winning Italian restaurant and caffé, right in the heart of Sheffield city centre. We're passionate about great food, wine and hospitality, and so are our customers who have enjoyed our fare since
Veragusto is not a cheap Italian. It is subtly understated on first viewing form outside. Inside it is modern and refined. The menu at first glance looks familiar but, on second and third glance it has freshness nd interest and vitality. Subtle and unxpected takes on traditional Italian menus. It is not fine dining prices but you do pay more for a lovely dining experience and some great tastes form the kitchen. The wine list has an interesting range - the lowest bottle is around the £20 - an interesting Planeta form Sicily is another £10 - so not over-priced. The food was excellent - a fish nd seafood broth was beautifully prepared and tasted rich and perfectly balanced. Service was attentive and friendly without being at all fussy or over formal. I would eat here again and again.

The Olive Lounge is a Tapas Bar & Restaurant based in Wickersley, Rotherham. We provide a wide selection of authentic Tapas meals and in house mixed cocktails which weâve been told are to die for, but donât take our word for it, come and try them for your
We had booked the Olive Lounge restaurant for a family meal for four people. We ordered cocktails whilst looking through the menu. The whole party commented how noisy the restaurant, even though only half the tables were sat at.The nose continued to get worse at the restaurant became busier. Even to the point, I couldnât hear my partner next to me speaking. We left after starters & mains simply because we couldnât hear each other, relax & enjoy our dining experience. We wonât be back. Hi Emma,We're very saddened to hear of your birthday experience at The Olive Lounge.Whilst we are a small venue and sound does travel, we're sorry that this affected your dining experience and ultimately your evening.I shall be sure to pass your comments on to our management team for consideration. Many thanks,The Olive Lounge

Trippets Lounge Bar is the establishment for fizz, gin, dining and jazz in Sheffield. We are an award-winning independent bar in the heart of âThe Steel Cityâ on the renowned Trippet Lane; a short walk from the Cathedral, the City Hall and the Peace Garde
Trippets has restored some faith in having an evening out in Sheffield. Couldn't have asked for a better night out. I was out with my daughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed the night. We booked a week beforehand and our table was ready on arrival, it was ours for the evening. A table for two right by the window. We were as faraway from where the band were playing as you could get but it made for great background music as we dined. The menu was mouthwatering and lived up to expectations. We shared three nibbles, four plates and had a different dessert each. Although the dessert defeated the daughter! What incredible flavours we experienced, all well presented and just the right portion sizes. The cheddar & leek bites with Cumberland sauce was particularly outstanding. I myself drank the bottled bitter, my daughter had a couple of gins from "the gin bible". Again faultless. The great thing about it all was that you could order your plates as and when you were ready to eat. There was no rush what so ever, no one coming over "are you ready to order, are you ready to order?" It took us almost three hours to complete our meal.Afterwards we popped into the bar for a drink and listened to the swing band. A group of students from the Uni swing society were there dancing their socks off. It was great to watch. Even better was the bill when it arrived. Take off the £20 deposit and we were left with a meagre £53 to pay between us. Fantastic value I thought for a fantastic experience. The only down side to visiting Trippets was that I'll now have to take the wife next time.

Recently moved to the area so tried this place for first the time due to great reviews. I had the mackerel for starters it was fantastic and then the duck which I asked to change the potato to hand cook chips instead and the restaurant was very accommodating. We went early at 6:30pm so we were the only ones there the deco is nice. The only fault was the dessert I choice chocolate orange sponge the sponge was quite dry and it looked like something you got at school dinners a piece cut out of a square baking tray it was served with a melting ice granita they didnât go together at all. Would come back but please change the chocolate dessert Thank you for your review. We are sorry you didn't enjoy your dessert with us. Our menu will be changing in September and I've passed your comments on to our Chef. We do hope to see you again in the near future.

After a shopping spree in Meadowhall with my sister we decided on a well deserved lunch treat. We had, the pollo de paella, olives and various other tapas. All serve promptly by Honour our waitress who was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and very good quality and value for money. Also took advantage of the happy hour drinks. Enjoyed every moment there. Will be back.

Perfectly cooked meats, fish and vegetables cooked right in front of the customer on the hot coal barbecue.
Visited here on a Saturday evening with family. We had a selection of hot and cold Turkish mezze, of which all were delicious. There is a limited drinks menu, however, the Turkish lager was nice. We found the food bill reasonable and we were well looked after by our waitress. Lovely restaurant.

We came for lunch this week. We were served by Aiden and wow what a guy! He seemed to be the only person that I could see who was dealing with customers but somehow he was managing to do absolutely everything from:Welcoming customers Taking ordersclearing the tables Bringing out foodTaking billsDealing with queries Waving off customers It was rather busy so there was a lot of pressure on him but he still managed to stay calm with a huge smile on his face. A lot of other waiters/waitresses could learn a lot from this guy.

Visited the Bay Tree last night, on a whim, and had a great night. We were wondering where to go last night and decided to visit the Bay Tree. It appeared busy but we managed to get a table, in the window.Ordered drinks and food, and were brought out drinks almost immediately. Great. We ordered the pork souvlaki and herby chicken. Didnât bother with starters Our food came and was really tasty. The souvlaki consisted of three pork skewers, a boat load of chips, lovely hummus, salad, pitta bread and a slice of lemon. The herby chicken was just that chicken cooked in herbs on a bed of mash. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. All washed down with a glass of Prosecco, or two. Food great, drinks great and staff great.
