The restaurant from the outside is rather unassuming, the interior unstuffy, but you should be quite impressed by the quality of the courses and service. It is a bit intimidating to remember specifically all the ingredients and descriptions of the courses - they are all carefully and professionally explained by the waiters as they arrive - but we had eight courses, including scallops prepared two different ways, venison, and grilled fish - but of course it varies according to the season and the chef's desire. Among the chef's signature elements seem to be finely sliced vegetables, fruits, and bread, and it appears that much of the produce comes from his garden. It is a relatively small restaurant so reservations are advisable, although we were there for a Saturday lunch and there were still tables available. Lovely experience.

It is a small restaurant. Just a few tables. One young man was doing everything receiving, hosting and serving. He was very pleasant and efficient. Jenni and I both ordered fish. I has dorade, seabream I think. It came beautifully brown and crispy outside but tender and flaky from inside along with seasonâs first arrival - asperagus, crisp and juicy lightly sautéed in butter. House white wine was very good, smooth, slightly fruity. Desert was quintessential Crema Catalan - delicious, creamy, not too sweet. The clientele seemed to be quite informal but food sophisticated. As usual, they discussed with the waiter before ordering. It was a delightful evening.

Arrived in perpignan to watch a rugby game and ate out on several occasions this was by far the best meal. Its a slightly odd combination of french and thai cuisine. Atmosphere was superb, staff although they had to cope with our halting french were really helpful. Starter was recommended by the waitress, spring rolls and dumplings with lettuce and a spicy sauce - superb There were three of us two shared the Marmite (no its a pot not the yeast attract) of assorted seafood - wow large head on prawns, scallops, cuttle fish, mussels, cockles all served in a pot of rice really great flavours, substantial portion highly recommendedMy other son had a wok curry dish which again was outstanding, seafood with coco nut milk , green curry etc - superb Wasn't particularly expensive , beer press ion was icy stella, wine was cheap and excellent - highly recommended

2 steps from Castillet, in the historic center of Perpignan. Pedestrian street, pleasant for children and families. Beautiful sunny terraces in summer to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine reinvented by the owners of the place. The motto: fresh produce, seasonin
We had dinner here yesterday. Service was relaxed and super friendly. Everything we had was fantastic and the mussels with parsley a particular highlight. The owner was very friendly and we would recommend highly.

Popped in here for a lunchtime bite. Place was just filling up with locals. Having had a great meal here can see why they come. My wife had roasted camembert with very tasty roasted potatoes and toasted bread alongside a salad. I had a marvelous chicken and bacon risotto. Best one I have ever had. 2 glasses of Affligem and 2 wines. Came to 50 euro. Impeccable service and great chef. We will be back.

We've visited this restaurant after reading reviews in Tripadvisor. It was a great french style dining experience and all of the food we've sampled was delicious. Especially the deserts were excellent. I would definitely recommend this place for either lunch or dinner and would go back if I'm in Perpignan again. It's good for couples or friends. There aren't many tables, so make sure to book in advance.

We last visited this restaurant a couple of years ago -it was excellent then.... and still is.Our 9 course tasting menu on 1st July consisted of 4 fish courses (marinated prawn, langoustine, sea cod and pollock), one meat (Auvergne beef), chesse and 3 delicious puddings. All cooked to perfection by Garry, with Ariane provided her usual detailed explanations of what we'd just eaten. On past visits, there has been a more even balance of fish and meat, but I think Garry just cooks what he feels is best on the day, hence the fishy theme last Friday. However, the Garriane never fails to impress. One of the best and most unpretentious restaurants in the Languedoc,

The two of us enjoyed the 2 course set lunch with a glass of wine each and a bottle of fizzy water for a very reasonable â¬55, given the quality of food, presentation and service.Lovely courtyard dining area for warmer days.
