WELCOME TO THE OLD TOWN! Even the first tourists here used the Stadthaus as the starting point for their trips. For hundreds of years guests from all over the world have come in and out of our doors. This international effect is reflected in our menu. How
Our party really enjoyed our dinner here. We sat at an outdoor table overlooking an old square on a pleasant evening. The menu has typical Swiss German dishes, but they are prepared with a flair or refinement, call it what you will, but definitely a cut well above the average. Service was very good. The beer and wine selection is also good.We would certainly eat here again when in Interlaken.Dear Stephen, Thanks a lot for your nice words and great review. We are very happy we could satisfy your party with your swiss dishes and we will gladly forward those words to our kitchen! Hope to welcome you and your friends during your next visit again!Your stadthaus team

Our food took a LONG time to come. Around 40 minutes. The soup was cold so I sent it back and when it came back it was full of oil so I had to ask them to take it away. The fish was ok but also quite cold. Pizzas and pasta were fine.I asked for 2 jugs of tap water with ice, and they were refilled during the meal. Imagine my horror when I got the bill to find I had been charged 5 Swissies per jug! I dont think I have ever been charged for tap water before. And if you are going to charge, then at least tell the guest first as this is hardly standard practice.I am quite surprised this place got such good reviews. There are many many better places in Interlaken to eat. Avoid.Dear Sir. As you noticed we had an alot of guests that evening when you were here.We are very sorry, that you had to wait for the meal .We do our best that the cook does not take to long.So when the the food is not ready the service waiter error. The kitchen sends there regards and apologises for that.As for the water, it is noted in our menu the tapwater costs. The waiter does not always have time to explain why. But i am sure you agree that it has to be brought to the table and you needed for 7 people 7 glasses and in the end these have to be washed and dryed and for that we need staff that wants to be payed for there work.I do hope you accept our apologiesBest regards The Manager

The menu of the restaurant "La Terrasse" is inspired by the cuisine from the South of France. The fresh and warm colors, the plants as well as the furnishing remind of an "Orangerie" of this region.
We had the pleasure of dining here during our two night stay at the Victoria Jungfrau hotel. Every course we had was superb including the dramatic lobster in a box which we had as a first course, followed by Swiss coq au vin and finally the crepe suzette which was traditionally prepared at our table . Wine was good value wine for Switzerland and service was professional and friendly. It was a nice touch for the executive chef Stefan to come around and say hello and give us a copy of the recipe for the lobster dish.

We were with a large group, but the service was prompt and the servers were very pleasant. We had a person with special dietary requests and the staff worked to accommodate her needs without any hesitation. The food is good with nice variety. Is on a side street and could be easily overlooked, so look for an anchor sign hanging outside. Inside decor is eclectic and a little different, but you are not there for art. Can recommend this place for a good meal that comes with good service.

Went with a large bunch of friends The owners and staff did everything possible to accommodate our group. Best part going in large numbers is sampling many items on the menu - EVERYTHING was delicious. Know for the pork knuckle (amazing), I had the noodle shrimp salad and had bites of numerous delicious entrees. Only regret is not going more than once. Owners Sandy and Shep are the best! The group shot is how we felt after the meal.

My fiance and I were craving pizza and decided to try it here based on the reviews. We were immediately impressed when we were greeted by two very kind and cheery waiters. We shared the margherita pizza, tomato and mozzarella salad, and fresh broccoli cream soup. All three of these are a must have! Their pizza dough was light and delicious, with the perfect amount of cheese and homemade sauce. The broccoli cream soup was not creamy, more pureed and was out of this world! You could taste the fresh parsley and cheese. Also the tomato and mozzarella salad was so fresh, and had just the right amount of balsamic reduction - don't skip it! It was affordable and we will definitely be back when we return to Switzerland.

We stayed in a his hotel and a had a fantastic meal in the intimate dining room next to bar. Menu now presented differently to photos here but content same, and seems to have changed name. As noted by others butter with bread ya excellent. Local pickled fish starter was fresh and tasty. Steak and fish mains had us full and happy with no space for desert. Highly recommended.
