This restaurant was recommended by our hotel receptionist and it was exactly what we were looking for.Amazing food, relaxed atmosphere, affordable, quiet place.We had 3 half dishes (enough food), including a shrimp fideo and a steak tartar. Everything recommended by our waiter and everything a delicious surprise. Even the wine was very good.The bill was 35⬠for two, quite inexpensive considering the experience.

I went to this nice Tapas Bar with friends yesterday and we had some really good Tapas here with some local wine. The place looks nice, the service was really good, a friendly waiter translated the menu for us and gave as some great suggestions of his own favorite dishes. They had reasonable prices for good quality food. On my next trip to AlmerÃa, I would go there again. Gracias por su reseña, un saludo de Jovellanos16 esperamos verlos pronto!!!!

I was with a group of colleagues when visited this restaurant. The atmosphere inside is vibrant with mouth-watering food and the service was excellent.We started with a variety of Tapas then had a main course followed by deserts.I opted for the caramelised pork knuckles which were fantastic followed a death by chocolate cake which was delicious. The rib steak was chosen by a friend and looked amazing and huge.I do recommend this place

A little restaurant, with a little terrace on the beach. Friendly staff and very good food. We all had pizza (2 with the 5 cereals dough) and we love it. Finally a real Italian Pizza. Dear Daniell, thank you so much for your review. Hope to see you again soon Best regards

We made a point of finding this restaurant as a result of excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. We weren't disappointed. The decor is smart and modern, and the food provides a modern twist on some traditional dishes, along with some new ones. There is an excellent wine list. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the service and attention we were given. Gazpacho was first class, calamities were very good, and we shared a main dish of cochinillo (suckling pig) crisply cooked in little pieces. When the waiter recommended a small portion of cheese to help us finish our very good Ribera del Duero winnow were not disappointed p we were served a manchego which was voted the world's best cheese (out of 2700 cheeses) at a UK cheese fair! And it was! Desserts were equally excellent, and with every dish the chef came out to check that we were satisfied. All in all a very good evening!

The quality of the food was ok (and the puddings were good) but the choice was limited, it costs a bit more than most restaurants in these parts and the set menu includes only one glass of wine compared to the half-bottle that you get in most places. So in terms of value for money, it cannot rank more than average.

Called into Retamar for our mid morning coffee stop on way to Cabo de Gata, the cafe is on the corner of the street leading down to the beach, and it had a nice sunny position so we decided to call in.Coffee's were nice and hot and reasonably priced, as I've said, a sunny location to watch the world go by, so what's not to like.Worth a visit if you are passing through town.

After our all inclusive hotel really disappointed us with the food on our Honey moon, we looked for a nice place to eat. What a delight this place is! We eat there every night of our holiday! The pizza and pasta are freshly made to order and the service was the best we have had so friendly and welcoming, the food is excellent and lovely wines too. Don't listen to the bad reviews this place is perfect.

This bar/restaurant is located just off the Paseo de Almeria close to the banks. Many of its customers are local office workers. I only had drinks here (very good price), having already lunched, but I could see the quality and value of the Menu del Dia still being served at about 4pm. If I were in Almeria again, I would come here for lunch. Service was friendly and pleasant.
