Excellent service, friendly, helpful, good business lunch and others, very comfortable seating, rather quiet without unpleasant music. Dessert is a tiny bit on the sweet side but beautifully presented. The price of the business lunch is acceptable for an expensive city like Zürich. My friends have lamb, they find it good. The service is very attentive. Nice and warm place, we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and we were served by a super nice and gentle young chap. We had a nice corner where our dog got water before we got our drinks ;)Good food, honest portions, the cordon bleu were really tasty. It has been years since we had a meal at the Linden, but we were glad to retry it last week. We were welcomed by kind and professional staff. Our main course (we only had one course) was on the table 20 minutes after we arrived. The dishes were well cooked and very tasty.We ate upstairs, outside on the balcony. Although this is next to a pretty busy intersection, the noise did not disturb our lovely meal.Definitely going back for more.

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening. The pizza was probably the best ever, the service not so much.The Good.1. The pizza was amazingly good! Probably the best ever and that is why the place gets 5 stars. The pizzas were thin Italian style, the sauce was great and the toppings plentiful and tasty. The ham and pepperoni was superb. 2. The other food was good and the outside space was nice to sit in.2. Online reservation was very easy.The Bad.1. From the outside, the place does not look the best. Outside tables are around a fountain and are quite tightly spaced whilst the inside is pleasantly decorated.2. The service was definitely hit and miss. Despite having a reservation, the very busy waiters took some time to seat us. The food was quite slow coming but at the end they ordered us a taxi which was helpful.3. By international standards, the place is expensive but reasonable for Switzerland. A pizza was about £20. OverallThe pizza was amazing and it is a pizza restaurant so despite more average service, it has to be 5 stars. Would definitely return.

...about this place? It may be more difficult for me in the future to get a reservation if I tell you just how good it is. Friends took us here and we keep coming back because it is everything. Small, husband and wife team, excellent food and the staff have worked there for years.Service:Already while booking over the phone it becomes clear that this is a customer service oriented gem of a restaurant. Friendly, engaging and above all customer oriented.Arrival, same thing. Super friendly, table is ready, thank you for being with us today...top notchFood:The US filet of beef I had was so tender that you could chew it with your eyebrows, well at least I could cut it with my fork which says it all I think. Everything our group ordered was excellent and we could barely walk out of there because we of course had to order dessert and the ice cream was one of the biggest I have seen served in a restaurant in a long time.I strongly recommend you go there and try it out - well actually let me do it for you...

What kind of restaurant instead of preparion food while you are waiting, give you sliced beef prepared from the night (they confirm this when I pointed this out to the chef) and give you mash potatoes just adding boiled water to the pasl. I think, Small sliced beef portion and mashed potatoes cost 32 franks. Quality is disgusting, you can eat much testy and fresh prepared food in any Daily in NYC. Or you never be wrong in France with freshly prepared stake and salad on side for more than 20-22 euros. Disgusting overpriced place. We can guarantee that all our dishes are freshly prepared. We use only regional and seasonal products. Our meat is smoked in an elaborate process and even there we use only the best part of the animal. The comparison with New York is difficult for us to comment on because we have no information about the quality and the pricing. The price comparison with France arises from the fact that the costs in Switzerland are many times higher.best regards
