We booked a special family lunch for 12 people. First the decor is just gorgeous! The food was brilliant, traditional food but with a lovely modern twist! Could not fault anything, it was absolutely amazing! Very tasty and beautifully presented from start to finish. We even asked for a special cake to be made for the occasion and that didn't seem to bother them any bit, the cake was amazing!Easily the best restaurant in Portugal.Thank you so much for being so accommodating with everything and for making our day so special. The staff was very attentive and very friendly.

Set in the ancient kitchens of the Palace of Queluz and contributing to the splendour of the Pousada de Queluz - D. Maria I, the Cozinha Velha Restaurant offers delicious delicacies, according to the most genuine recipes of Portuguese traditional cuisine.
A lovely dinner in a stunning location, the 18th century palace kitchens. The original stone work table now used to display desserts weighs in at about 17 tons! The original chimneys, stone preserving troughs and fire places remain too. We received a friendly welcome from staff happy to share the history of the kitchens (18th century)/ restaurant dating from the 1940's. A wood burning fire and live harp music added to the ambience. Starter of tomato soup and pea & ham soup, followed by black pork and chicken stew with chestnuts and roast potatoes was so filling there was no room for dessert. A white muscatel wine from Setabul set it off nicely. Would recommend and am booked in again tomorrow.

This is a nice restaurant and an excellent spot in the neighborhood where it is located. The quality-price relationship is excellent (one can eat a full meal with wine on the side for about â¬15 to â¬20 per person, however it depends on what kind of wine you order). The menu is varied, utilizing most well-known Italian dishes: bread, pizzas, steaks, pasta, salads and risotto. The restaurant has one or two minor details to improve on: it can be a bit noisy (many groups go there for celebrations), and the quality of some dishes can still be improved: like the risottos and some pizzas. Most desserts are excellent, but I would recommend the panacotta. Overall it is an excellent place with an excellent, kind and hospitable staff. Though they don't deliver at home they have a takeaway service if you don't feel like eating on place. TVs are always broadcasting sports, so for those who like it it is a plus. I do recommend you make reservations because it is simply and always full!

We are here whilst staying at the nearby pousada and it is a fantastic neighbourhood restaurant serving good local food. There is an extensive menu, all in Portuguese but one of the waiters kindly translated it for us. When we visited the place was full of local regulars which is always a good sign. There are a number of speciality meat and fish dishes all at very reasonable prices. I don't know how they do it for the money. If you want authentic Portuguese food with a great atmosphere then you will love eating here.

Visited this small restaurant, which also has an adjoining cafe, whilst staying at the adjacent Palace Hotel. The staff were excellent and very informative. We shared Tempura prawns as a starter and had the Monkfish and Salmon with Clams as main courses. Neither had any veg with them so we ordered a salad as well. Both meals were very good. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Queluz.

Maria Azeitona is a cozy restaurant located in Amadora center - Rua Alfredo Keil. Warm setting, cozy and informal environment and offering some of the most Portuguese traditional recipes and Portuguese tapas. Join us at lunch or dinner time any day of the
We had dinner here twice during our stay in Amadora. It is easily the best restaurant in the area. The food is basically traditional Portuguese but with some modern variations. All fresh, perfectly cooked and presented.Very good wine list and attentive but not intrusive service. We had a 3 course meal - entree, main and dessert with a bottle of good wine and mineral water for 50 Euros all up. Excellent value. They open at 7pm but it tends to get very busy after 8pm so try to get there at 7 to beat the crowd.

Cosy and very friendly restaurant, my favourite since 1988 !!Superb portuguese cousine and a fantastic staff - try posta à mirandesa or tuna (atum) or mustard beef or cabrito or the best cozido in town. End with a rançoso or toucinilho "conventual" desserts, and probably you have a good surprise when you see the bill. :)

Hamburguer and steak house, set in a building over 200 years near the National Palace of Queluz. We have a cozy atmosphere where you will feel at home, we also have a space dedicated to children where they can play while parents can enjoy their meal.
We wanted a beer and light meal, being able to sit on the terrace in the late afternoon sun, and this place hit the spot. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious and freshly cooked. The burgers were very juicy with plenty of filling. Served with crisps, not chips, but that wasn't a problem. Very reasonably priced too.Good MorningThank you very much for your rating.it is very good to know that our customers are satisfied, but even more a clent that comes to Portugal to visit our Countrygreetings and until one day

Cotorinho is a restaurant dedicated to making francesinhas. The francesinhas are considered one of the top ten sandwiches in the world. The recipe for our sauce is over four decades old.
Restaurante 5 estrelas, comida deliciosas, staff simpático e ambiente super acolhedor.
