Lovely little restaurant with friendly service and great food. The Canadian soup was delicious and the house salad fresh and full of flavour. Really lovely ambience - we were totally charmed by it.

Somos un restaurante vegetariano y vegano ubicado en La Isla Bonita, La Palma (Canarias). Nos encontramos camino a las cuevas de Buracas en medio de la naturaleza, con unas hermosas vistas al mar.
This small "hippie cafe" is located next to the Braces caves, a nice hike away from the road. We absolutely loved it on two visits: the people running it are friendly, making some amazing coffee and lovely lovely sandwiches; also try the fresh juices. It's not inexpensive, but I can understand that with everything having to be carried here from the road or grown locally. This is a very unique spot & a cool experience, worth coming back to.

This is a very nice local brewery, where they actually brew the beers on site. If you happen to be there at the right time, you can even see the process through the windows. The beers were very good. The food was okay, nothing special, but there was enough choice for everyone from a small menu. If you are a beer lover, you must definitely pay them a visit.

Located on the LP1 with the jcn of the LP111 you will undoubtedly pass this place as it's not far from pontegorde and on the main road that crosses the north part of the islandNice surrounding, traditional food and not that badly priced consideringWe have omelette, soup, bread and dips with a bottle of water and it was 18 euros. If we had not had fizzy water and the dips we would have paid half

We have been travelling to La Palma for many years and always look forward to at least one meal at Pino de la Virgen. It is our opportunity to enjoy some of the traditional dishes of La Palma - including goat and rabbit. The menu is quite extensive so there is plenty of choice. We have always enjoyed eating in what feels like a much more traditional bar/ restaurant. The bar itself fronts the street whilst the restaurant is behind it, with a pretty courtyard in between which forms part of the restaurant area.

We came here to celebrate a special occasion and sat on the balcony overlooking the sea, ostriches below and sunset. We tried to go local so our meal included red wine from La Palma (really good) and salad made with local cheese and honey. Every course was amazing and we somehow squeezed in three of them. We were even brought an additional course on the house as well as a complimentary drink at the end. The service was warm and friendly. We were so impressed with the quality and presentation of the food which was not ridiculously expensive. Somehow we managed to walk (or waddle) back to our cottage..make sure you take torches with you if walking on the road at night as very dark. If back in La Palma we would love to return.

We approached the restaurant from Puntagorda and the winding climb up and down is spectacular and a little nail biting for the last 4-5 kilometres! Well worth the effort...Parking was a little tight on the day we visited. This German owned restaurant is only open weekends (1.00pm to 11.00pm) and a reservation is a must. There are tables outside (undercover) and the decor is rustic in a comfortable setting. Lovely views. The bathroom is quirky and there is a very old Singer sewing machine on display.Service:Our son spoke to the owner prior to booking as regards his vegan needs and the lady was very helpful and accommodating. The lady who served us was welcoming and willing to make suggestions. Sterling service. Unfortunately I didn't get the names but our appreciation and thanks to all.Dining experience:Complimentary crackers and creamed cheese were served while we 'agonised' over what to order from the very tempting menu and the wine list offering exception local wine. For starters we had creamy goat cheese in honey and served with a red pepper marmelade (delicious), Mediterranean seafood soup/home baked bread (piquant and divine) and a banana/papaya/mango salad (flavoursome with an amazing dressing). Our main dishes did not fail to impress - mega king prawns served with garlic/orange sauce (subtle taste), salad (bursting with freshness and chips (freshly made) and for our vegan diner baked sweet potato with a zucchini salad (truly delicious). The desserts are fit-for-the-gods: house mousse au chocolat (the very best I have ever had and I shall no doubt experience many Proustian moments!), almond caramel ice cream (rich and creamy) and for our vegan diner flambe bananas was specially prepared. All the dishes came in adequate portions and very well presented. There is a good choice of wine and the white, organic local wine complimented the dishes. 86 euros for three fine dining.A visit to this restaurant is a must if visiting La Palma.

A small rustic Restaurant in the middle of Puntagorda. Clean and tidy inside in the rustic Canarian style rather than modern. There is plenty of choice on the menu and the waitress was both welcoming and very tolerant of my basic Spanish when taking our order. We shared padron peppers and prawns in garlic for starters. The peppers were lovely and the garlic with the prawns were slightly over cooked so we're a little tough however the garlic pieces were lovely and caramelised. For mains we had calamari and pan fried pork. The calamari was obviously cooked from a frozen packet which is shame on an island with so much fresh seafood available. My pork dish was very tender and in a nice sauce but there was far too much oil floating on the plate. Vegetables were tinned which is quite normal on the island. My wife had a barraquito coffee which was disappointing as it was made using a coffee pod machine which was located right next to a proper coffee machine. A short cut which resulted in a mediocre barraquito. We've had some fabulous meals on this island over the past 10 years but I would rate this restaurant as OK but not great.

With new mangagement this place has taken a very different style than the old one. The food is a more urban with a maybe a touch of Italian style. We will return and bring friends. A positive addition to the eating places in Puntagorda and the west side of La Palma.

Creative pizzerÃa in pleasant atmosphere.good food
Had dinner here tonight. Had a vegetarian pizza but they were happy to hold the cheese for me as I donât eat dairy products. Pizza tasted great with fresh ingredients and also the wine was very tasty. Nice music playing. Very cool interiors. Definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through or staying in Puntagorda.
