Flying Duck Co. is an Asian and European cuisine restaurant based out in Balewadi, Pune. We are known for lip-smacking food and great ambience coupled with amazing music and live performances. Some of our must try dishes include Pork Chops, Rice, Khow Sue
I visited Flying Duck Co. for a Saturday lunch and the serene ambiance and simple vibes made me happy at my choice to lunch here! Cocktails : I ordered some cocktails to my liking and the bartender truly knew his skills to device some great whiskey based cocktails! I loved the burnt cinnamon flavour & the balanced alcohol level in it! Salads : Loved the Carrot Som Tum salad which is very different from the regular salads I generally have, this one had a lot of texture & elements. The pear one was however too strong because of the vinegar.Starters: I loved the charcoal smoked lasuni kebab so much that I ordered another portion and the strong garlic flavour was on point! Really liked the corn spinach tacos as well as they had a basic yet desirable taste.Mains: I really digged in the Chicken Khow Sury here as the flavours were bang on and I loved the overall preparation.Desserts: One of the best Tiramisus I have ever tried! And the mango pannacotta was the table's favourite! The orange mousse was truly sinful & the desserts gave a perfect end to the meal!

For a passionate person it is of immense source of enjoyment to feel at home anywhere, while one is away from home. Be the citizen of the world, be at the very center of the world and yet be unseen to the world, Incognito! Such are some of the simple plea
We have been to the Incognito a couple of times at the Phoenix Mall, Viman Nagar. The service here is good, so is the ambience and food. In particular they have select food items from a variety of cuisines and all of them that we have tried so far have been great. Also like the fact that they play ambient music so it's peaceful to be at this place and have a nice time. They have sufficient seating available so we've never had to wait for a seat.

Having enjoyed the meals at Sassy Spoon in Mumbai, we decided to give Sassy Spoon in Pune a try. So happy that we did. Being a dry day, we did not drink anything, but instead chose to tuck into their delicious main courses right away. And that was a good idea. Portion sizes are very generous, and we were able to savour every last morsel of the mains, as we opted to skip the starters. We were looked after so well by our server, Kiran, who was always at hand even though it was a packed Sunday evening. We took an outdoor table, and the well placed fans made it a pleasant summer evening. The music though was a tad too loud for my liking, even though we moved away from the speakers. We decided to try Beer Batter Fried Fish and Chips, Kerala Lamb with delicious Coconut sticky rice, Mushroom Tortellini with Porcini Sauce (pasta was a bit chewy which was surprising for a restaurant like Sassy, but the Porcini Sauce was divine), and Prawn Risotto. I must admit that I enjoyed the food at Sassy Spoon Pune more than the Mumbai branch. Well done, Sassy, you've managed to please a fastidious foodie like me.

âSheraton Grandâ which was earlier used to be Le-Meridian is located at Bund Garden Road. Recently I visited âFeastâ restaurant in Sheraton Grand for their Italian Food Fest named 'Siciliano Food Festival'. This Italian Fest is happening from 10th Mayâ19 to 20th Mayâ19 where one can experience authentic Italian delicacies; mainly Siciliano Food. Being an Italian food lover, I was thrilled to visit this place. They had the specially curated menu along with live counters for Pasta and Pizza. First of all, the interior of this place is amusing and beautiful. The moment you stepped in the hotel, chandeliers along with a lovely ambiance welcomes you. I was mesmerized by the beauty of this place. Elegant and classy are the words to define it.Talking about their food, apart from Italian cuisines they even had the regular menu including Indian and continental food.Starting with the Lasagna, they had 2 different kind of lasagna. Fist one was Lasagna Alla Pollo which was a non-vegetarian Lasagna. Alla Pollo means Lasagna which is cooked with chicken. The chicken used in this lasagna was tender and juicy. The lasagna had a mild sweet taste which I absolutely loved it. The another one was âLasagna Ortolonoâ which was basically a lasagna cooked with vegetables. This was slightly different from the Chicken Lasagna as it had different kind of vegetables along with cheese. It melted right away in mouth. Taste wise it was good.Other than Lasagna I have tried their Pizza and Pasta from live counter. Their Margherita pizza was simply delicious. Could literally felt those Italian flavors while having a bite of it. It was a fluffy crust pizza which was topped with different vegetables like bell peppers, cherry tomatoes and zucchini and later topped with cheddar cheese. This is how like my pizza, not overly topped; simple and cheesy. The another one was non-vegetarian Pizza, moreover a seafood Pizza. âPizza Pinocchioâ which had Tuna fish as their main ingredient. The pizza had a fluffy base and topped with fresh Tuna fish along with olives and cheese. This Pizza didnât look that fancy as compared to Veg one but had a delectable taste. Talking about their Pasta, as I have mentioned earlier that they had live counter for that. One can choose their own sauce and toppings for the same. I have tried their âRigatoni Alla Amatricianaâ Pasta. It was basically spaghetti which was cooked with bacons in tomato sauce along with Italian herbs. It was later topped with cherry tomatoes. This pasta was really good with the taste of bacon and Italian herbs which came off real good. The combination of bacon with tomato sauce went really well. If you want to try something different from your regular pasta, then this is the pasta you should go for.Coming on to their main course, I have tried âFish in aged Balsamicâ which I found just fine as the fish wasnât cooked properly and had a weird smell. Really liked âFiletto do Manzoâ which means beef fillet. It was basically tender and succulent boneless beef which was cooked to perfection and had a mild yet juicy taste. Then there was âFunghi Sicilianaâ which was mushrooms cooked in Siciliana sauce. Siciliana sauce is basically made of tomatoes and also called as red sauce. In this mushrooms along with bell peppers were cooked in Siciliana sauce which had a tangy taste. Another veg dish which I tried was âCucina Basilicoâ where Potatoes wedges were cooked in basil sauce. Here cucina means the cooking style so basically potatoes were cooked In Italian style in Basil sauce. It had a good taste too.And I ended my dinner on a sweeter note by trying their variety of desserts. They had different variety of English and Indian desserts. My top pick was their âBlueberry Cakeâ which was soft and gooey. Then âMango Panno Cottaâ which was delish. The âDark Chocolate Mud Pieâ was average as it wasnât that soft. On the other hand âLemon Tartâ was really good with sweet and hint of tangy taste. To sum up my experience, this fest totally lived up to my expectations. Even if you are not someone who knows much about Italian food and confused to give it a try or not, you definitely should. The chef was courteous enough to explain about dishes which were new to me and even seeking feedback from us. Their live counters were really good. And they have organised this fest really well. Not to forget that this fest will get over on 20th Mayâ19 so you better try it soon. Thank you Feast :)

Location is easily accessible. Ambience is good so is the food. Desserts and cakes are very good.Service is also good. Something different is that they don't have menu card but a big board on the wall near the counter where you have to get up from your seat to see the menu and then place your order on the counter and the food will be served on your table
