Fine Dining modern British
Great food with an interesting selection. Attentive and professional staff. The restaurant has a subtle ambience and in this day and age, tablecloths add to the quality. Ranka and Dritan offer a quality experience. The best food for miles around.

Having read the reviews our expectations were relatively high. However, we suffered disappointment on every front (save that the wine list was OK). We visited on a Saturday night with friends. The place was full (although it has a very small number of covers) which ought to be a good sign. The premises are gloomy and dated and are devoid of any character. It would take so little effort to give it a lick of paint, put some interesting pictures on the walls and replace the dreadful net curtain at the front window. The food was distinctly average and poorly presented for the most part. The service was about as charmless as it is possible to get. No warmth, no feeling of welcome and I don't think we saw a smile all evening. I get that some people (quite a lot in fact) seem to find this place charming but I just didn't get it. I am surprised that in today's environment this place has survived ...

Met friends for lunch, luckily the weather was perfect and we had a lovely table in the courtyard under the grapevine, absolutely stunning. The gardens are lovely with interesting bronzes scattered around the grounds which are made by the ownerâs husband. Beautiful garden flowers everywhere even in the ladies add to the charm. The bread basket was absolutely delicious - a kind of brioche with onion and cheese, and tiny mini whole meal rolls, freshly made and served warm, really enjoyable and tasty. The starter of mackerel and fennel with pickled plums was very tasty and my husbandâs scallops were the best he had tasted for a long time. My main course of cod with barlotti beans and lobster and saffron sauce (basically half a dozen tiny dots on a kind of cracker). The pork was very tasty and the lamb was very pink if thatâs how you like it! The desserts were disappointing, walnut soufflé which my friend chose and caremelised puff pastry with a kind of raspberry coulis, not very exciting or tasty. This was a perfect meeting place and we were very lucky to eat outside, enjoying good wine perfectly served, the staff are excellent and unobtrusive and the owner works extremely hard, keeping an eye on ensuring things are running smoothly. If you want quality rather than quantity this is for you, we did enjoy our lunch but were famished by the time we got home 2 hours later!

From organisation beforehand to the day itself Tres Corazones was superb. We booked the upstairs room which was the perfect venue it our party of 30 friends and family. Service was efficient and friendly and the food was amazing, each dish brought out as needed. Of particular note were the lamb skewers and mixed tapas starter. All guests were impressed with the food and service and the party was excellent value for money. Thank you!

Beautiful and historic, The Russell Arms is owned by the village and managed by Moogies ltd. This superb pub is located in the heart of the Chilterns and offers the perfect spot for a stop off for a well earned pint, glass of lovely wine or a well made G&
The Russell Arms was, apparently, the staff of Chequers own accommodation and there are pictures of past prime ministers near the bar. It is spacious and has a lovely garden where we sat for lunch on a sunny afternoon. Staff were friendly and the service was excellent. I'm a sucker for sharing menus and this one was extremely tasty. All topped off with good wine and reasonable prices.

Origins at the White Lion is an international tapas and wine bar which focuses on providing its customers with fantastic international tapas, a great selection of wines and some incredible cocktails all served in the beautiful surroundings of Great Missen
Night out with sister and the most amazing tapas. Their cocktails were pretty fab too - my Mojito was beautiful! We had flatbread to start followed by halloumi, patatas bravas, scallops and tempura vegetables. All beautifully cooked to perfection and all had their own flavour which complimented each other. Lovely waiting staff and a great atmosphere even for a Monday night. Would highly recommend.

The sister restaurant to tin kitchen. European recipes using local produce wherever we can.
Had been wanting to go to Lata Lata for a while and finally found the opportunity with a group of girlfriends. The cocktails were very moreish and the service was personal and relaxed!Thank you so much we will be back!
