Discover Restaurants offering the best European food in Pozzuoli, Province of Naples, Italy. Just a few miles west of Naples (and easily reached by train), the ancient seaside city of Pozzuoli is probably best known for its bradyseism, a raising and lowering of the Earth’s surface due to underground volcanic activity. Many sites remain from Pozzuoli’s days as an important Roman port, including the Macellum or Temple of Serapis, which for many years was submerged under water. The Flavian Amphitheater (Italy’s third-largest) and the Cathedral of Rione Terra are other popular attractions.

On Lungomare, this pub offers great variety of beers and hamburgers. We tried the vegetarian one (a bit dry, so ask for extra sauce). We also had Patate fritte alla Caprese (similar to Quebec's famous Poutine) a must try! Great place to get away from pizza and pasta only restaurants.Thank you for your positive review! :)See you soon,Federica

A suggestive location full of charm where the ancient melts with the modern in the wonderful frame of villa eubea
Meant to post a review months ago to let locals know this place is fabulous. Great service, reasonable prices, excellent food, and not the typical Naples menu. It's a refreshing change from the typical. When we went for lunch, no one spoke English, but we got by with our poor Italian. They took care of us. And there's even easy parking! Just drive up the driveway and they'll open the gate. Highly recommend.

We visited this restaurant with a larger group of people. The inside is all white and very pretty. The place is right on the water, but during dinner it makes no difference because it is dark outside and you can't see anything. There was no menu, so we did not know the prices. The waiter told us the options. Everyone ordered an appetizer (prosciutto & cheese or bruscetta). Each person then ordered a pasta course. When our pasta course was brought out, 2 or 3 people somehow ended up with steak. A few people were also given the wrong pasta dish, but we didn't really know until everyone was served. Less than half of us ordered a meat course. When the check came, we were horrified. The HOUSE wine cost â¬25/bottle. The cost was â¬60/person. This is appropriate for a full meal at a fancy restaurant, but we each had an appetizer and pasta course with a glass of wine. The pasta was nothing special- something I could get at any restaurant in or outside of Italy. While the ambiance in the restaurant was nice, the candle holders on the tables were plastic. We are not talking about an ultra fancy restaurant. My suggestion: go down the street to one of the all inclusive restaurants and have a full and delicious meal for â¬25.
