We have come here for 15 years or so and I have previously left a 5* review saying how wonderful and authentic this finca is however I must, sadly, retract all previous words said. The location is idyllic, there is no disputing that, and the food is good, especially if you have the T-bone. But this is no longer adequate to be worth a visit. We have stayed at the Marriott Son Antem for the same period of time and, as part of a deal, we get a free glass of cava as well as a glass of the local spirit at the end of the evening - which is for all patrons. This time however this was not the case. We got less than a half full glass of what is a pretty cheap cava and then, come the end of our long meal, we were refused the spirit as we had had the cava at the start despite the fact that the spirit was available for all guests not just those from te Marriot. Now this may sound petty or insignificant but for us, who have come here since it was in its infancy, it was disgustingly disappointing that they would be so petty to do this as well as the waiter being bluntly rude when I asked if we would get the shot.Lastly the service has never been speedy but you donât normally mind in this setting as you want to soak up the atmosphere. This time however we were treated as if we werenât even sitting there. Twice I had to get up to ask for service. No waiter came to see us for at least 15 minutes and then the bread and olives took a further 20 minutes to come. The starters then arrived before the waiters had cleared our plates from the bread and finally the sorbet one of us had for desert took 30 minutes, if not longer... for sorbet?! The bill then took the same and I had to ask for them to actually come over and take our money, ridiculous in a place that costs at least â¬50 a head, and much further upwards. In short a luxury finca gone to sh*t and so upset tingly so as this has been a long term favourite of ours, perhaps never to be returned to.

Bistro Mercat, situated on the main square of Llucmajor, offers tipical Mallorquin and Spanish dishes of high quality and with a seasonal background. On the menu you can find freshly prepared dishes like for example: Breakfast, Baguettes, Tapas, Soups, Sa
We always eat multiple times here during our holiday: the food is great (and not just the tapas, the main dishes are so good) and the owners are just the loveliest people. They really make a point of welcoming you and enquire about your needs all the time. The location is great as well: on the town square meaning you get the enjoy the hustle and bustle of both visitors as well as locals.Until next year Luis and Claudia! :-)Dear sevi7777777,so great to hear from you and that you mention that you feel welcome when visiting us.Take care and see you 2020.Thank you,Claudia & Luis

This is an exceptional restaurant in the middle of Campos. The food provides an excellent combination of flavours and textures with original twists. This is a first-rate chef working with fresh and mostly local ingredients. We had an outstanding fish of the day from the lonja (rodaballo) with vegetables and exquisite creamy sauce. My wife had excellent ravioli filled with spinach and requesón complemented by basil and capers; delicious. Very good decor and excellent service by Diego. Perfect!Dear luisw169,First of all, allow us to thank your trust choosing Tess de Mar on your recent visit to Campos. It has been a pleasure to receive such nice and detailed review from your site regarding our products and service. Defenitely, this is our committment at Tess de Mar not only fullfill your expectations even going above and beyond of them. Actually, this is Tess de Mar; Mediterranean cuisine, Mallorcan cuisine, creative cuisine and most of all, produce, is the essence that the chef and his team transmit. A work of haute cuisine where the aromas and textures accompany the authentic flavour of the final product. We are looking forward to welcoming you back shortly!Warm regards,Ãngela GimenezGeneral Manager

We have been coming to this restaurant for the last 5 years and up until 2016 the food has been amazingThe meal we had last night was very disappointing. They have changed the menu, and what we had was worse than home cooking! Very ordinary grilled food, with badly cooked vegetablesSuch a shameEspecially as they still charge as if it's fine diningPlus the service was v slow

This restaurant is closed from 4 November to 1 December.
Seems popular with locals and tourists. Ate here twice in a week because it was so good. First time made mistake in ordering a large pizza. The waitress gesticulated the size with her arms and I thought she was joking. She wasn't. It's huge. Pizza is prepared in open kitchen. Cooked in a traditional oven. Very authentic pizza. Can be busy especially around 8-9pm so be prepared to wait around for a little to get a table. But this is worth it.Very good value for money as well.

Great pizza with classic and some more inventive variations. They also have classic mallorquin and pasta dishes. Loved the dough and the fillings. Also very friendly staff and a great outdoors dining place.Plus home made ice Cream that was Delicious, and like most often in the countryside Mallorca very modest prices, the pizzas are at 9-12 EUR but very much worth it.Highly recommended!

Traditional bar in the center of the city, but with a modern twist. The bar also serves good meals and dinners at prices reasonable. His owner has worked in Madrid and other cities , getting the best Experience That Is The Culinary Arts . Esta experience
Sa Placa serves good quality fresh food and excellent (and cheap) local wines. We sat with friends at an outside table looking out onto the main square full of families enjoying themselves, eating, drinking, and listening to music in the warm evening air. The bread and alioli was excellent my baked salmon fillet enormous and delicious, my wifeâs vegetarian noodles equally good. The wine, a local Alberino, was super (at euros 2 per glass). The service was friendly and efficient, the loos were spotless, the prices reasonable, everything was good, we left feeling well fed, very mellow, and happily relaxed.

A restaurant set in the town's small park. It is tastefully decorated and chef José produces excellent food from a small but comprehensive menu including vegetarian options. Very good value 'menu del dia' - 3 generous courses plus wine for â¬10.
We visited this restaurant again, a couple of times during our recent visit to Porreres. We really like the park location, no passing cars bathing your food with fumes, which is a bit of an issue in the evening at restaurants in the centre of town. The food is simple but tasty, whether a special of the day or a pizza and salad and the service is attentive and very friendly. We enjoyed listening to the local Porreres drummers practice during our second visit! We look forward to visiting again next year.

An up market venue serving beautifully presented food. Excellent value - a 3 course lunch (menu del dia) including bread, olives and wine for â¬11.Thoroughly recommended.
I have visited this restaurant for many years and watched it being more and more ambitious. This autumn has been no exception. Todayâs food tasted very good and was excellently presented. The backside of these ambitions are that you often cannot just drop in but need to reserve a table. Also the price goes up but only slightly so. This is a good place if you want to enjoy food and not just fill your stomach.

We enjoy visiting Es Centro on a Sunday night in the summer when there is live music, lots of tables in the street and a great atmosphere! The food menu is varied, good value and the service is friendly and relaxed.
