What a marvelous restaurant! We visited Bilbao for a wedding which then held their reception at this really nice spot. Right on Bilbaoâs beach with gorgeous sunsets most nights, this restaurant excels in providing yummy, exquisite food. Over three days, we ate a late lunch and a dinner in the dining room, and then were treated to a 6-course feast at the wedding reception. Every meal, every item served was well prepared, presented nicely, and was wonderfully tasty. We are planning a cruise that will see us in Bilbao next spring and we WILL eat here again! If you have the option for a place to eat in the area surrounding Bilbao, choosing Tamarises Izarra will make you very happy!

Got the tip from a surf instructor and went there directly. The venue is around 20 min away from Sopelana were we were staying and well worth the trip. I went for the standard menu (~24e) which included an excelent bacalao filet and a chuleton. The waiter invited us to follow him to a back room where the huge sidra barrels are stored and were we could fill up our own glasses as much as we wanted. Highly recommended!

The entrance to this beach bar, once you find it, doesnât display a welcome, but a list of things that arenât allowed... the barely veiled hostility towards guests continues inside with indifferent bar staff, dim lighting and grubby tables. Prices seem very high, we paid over â¬7 for three tiny bottles of water. Unfriendly, unpleasant and slightly depressing.

The location is great with views of the harbour & beach. It was very busy but service was efficient & pleasant. The pintxos we tried were all tasty & we thought the price was fair.

Wonderful midday luncheon experience at Regi's new purpose-built premises in Urduliz. Five star treatment and decor: excellent cuisine and service. As to be expected, the restaurant was full (50+ seating). Two of us paid 32 euros each for a really splendid six-course selection of dishes plus delicious entrées and wine. Regi has a very enticing à la carte selection which most certainly will be tried on the next visit. Five star all the way.

Very beautiful place with a very interesting meal changing very often as they use season products.They are very warm people and fares are very OK, I mean, you can eat a lot and everything is so good that nothing seems to be expensive.I recomend it without any doubt.
