This was the first time I went to one of the Leon de Bruxelles, I ordered steak and fries from the menu but waitress came back and said they don't have it so I ordered fish and fries, fish was good and well cooked, fries was not what I expected from the famous Brussels fries but it was OK, salad bar was not so reach, I asked for the coffee flavor ice cream for dessert which was good. service was average and not bad. the price was reasonable and for a restaurant in France was good, decoration is nice, warm and friendly which I liked it. all together I got a good impression and I will take some of my guests to this restaurant in the future.

They take mussels very seriously. The variety of mussel dishes is astonishing. You will have so many options that if mussels is your thing, you'll be coming back here everytime you're in France. This restaurant provides with a true cuisine that is proud of experimenting with mussels at it's fullest. The proprietors are very kind and the vibe of the restaurant is just beautiful. It's not on the tourist path so rest assured you know it's good. It won't break your wallet and you'll have wonderful dining experience in France. 5 stars.thank you so much for your time, attention and attendance

We visited with a French friend. I must say we were disappointed. The food is very traditional French but itâs like dining 25 years ago before the stranglehold of Correct Cooking was lifted and chefs started using their imagination.Service fine but itâs very expensive with a ludicrously overpriced wine list. We dined better and much cheaper in a tiny village in Brittany the next night

A small restaurant close to the famous Auvers church, cosy and quiet. The owner and her fellow cook like to imagine delicious recipes for today based on local traditional meals. In addition, most of the food is purchased in the nearby farms. English spoke
We had our last meal of our ten days here and we're quite pleased. I had a spectacular seared foie gras and a tasty salmon "burger". Others enjoyed their pork dishes and filets. Flan was excellent.

Their are sadly very few good restaurants in and around Pontoise, the nearest and one of the best is 'La Maison' a Cormeilles en Vexin, so this makes a nice change, as this is in the center of Pontoise This is a real Italian restaurant, with 'la mama' who deals with the customers and very nicely to, she's kind and polite and very helpful, her husband (I think) who's in the kitchen and the waitress, all three are real Italians. All three dishes that we ate were good, all the products were fresh and home made, including the bread, the portions of good, just the right size. You can see and feel the Italian way of life in all of the food, just like being in Sicily, but without the sun By far the best restaurant in Pontoise without spending a fortune, be warned Saturday evening is very busy, you should book in advance

This is an excellent restaurant that is recently opened (7 months according to the chef) with not only delicious food, but friendly staff and a great environment. While the interior is not excessively fancy and the exterior is discrete this was a fabulous place to enjoy a 3 course meal for about â¬50

It's a nice enough restaurant, no particular atmosphere, food is good enough but over-priced for what it is. Not really at the level that you would expect from the reviews on this site.

Had a long lunch here earlier this week. We ate from the a la Carter and fixed price menus. Everything was flavoursome & delicious, prepared with a light touch. Service was attentive, if a little slow at times. Great wine list. Outdoor deck space will be lovely on a Summerâs evening. Really like that the chef walked the floor and spoke to her diners after service ended.

O Puits in Herblay is a delicious surprise. There were several of us for a celebration and therefore a lot of menu items were tasted:everything was carefully and attractively presented and cooked perfectly. Desserts are all wonderful (and copious) but the brioche French toast with caramel and maple ice cream was glorious. We will be back for more.

I was privileged to have been taken to Le Chiquito for a business dinner and, from beginning to end, had a truly exceptional experience. We had a private room off the main entrance, and our small group was very well served. The staff were engaging, but not obsequious(well, maybe the head waiter was a bit over the top, but it was entertaining not irritating). Every course was wonderful. The grenouilles et escargots (frog legs and snails) appetizer was "to die for" and my fresh sea-perch was "perchfectly" cooked. One of our group, a "foodie," had the chef's special dish (veal kidney or sweetbreads, I can't recall) which he indicated was orgasmic.I had the cheese board selection for dessert. Order it. Yes, the chocolate grenache looked wonderful, but order the cheese. The meal was likely expensive, but absolutely worth it. The priciest item on the menu was the cab ride back into Paris for the night!
