This restaurant is not in Piedimonte Etneo as advertised but about 5 minutes drive away. The views are stunning and it is really nicely set out. The reason for the average score was for two reasons, service was really slow and the food portions were quite small. I am aware I have to be careful when saying service is slow because this might be a cultural thing - we waited about 20 minutes from asking to receiving the bill. The cost was â¬80 (including tip) for two mixed grills, two pasta dishes, two soft drinks, two glasses of wine and two ice-creams. Although I give it an 'average' I think if you are happy to take your time and not big eaters then this place would deserve a four star.

Our family had a most amazing experience at talé restaurant in Sicily. The courses (we had ordered 3, ended up eating 7) were beautifully arranged, perfectly timed and absolutely exquisite. The service was truly most charming. The ambiance and decorations simple and stunning. Reserved a table of 9 for a Sunday lunch.Very nice place.We had a fixed menu 25⬠entree,first course, main, dessert coffee and drinks.Great fresh entrees, great homemade pasta(pistachio and norma). Great main course with meat cooked on a roof tile.Only negative note is the slow service we waited about 20 mins between each plate.Very clean placeReccomended
