Homemade food. A true Italian atmosphere. From entry to exit, delighted. they tried the specialties. You just have to go and try. the photos tell you more than 1000 words. We'll definitely come back again. A little place on top of the hill. Homemade cakes must be tried. I'm not really sweet but I'm thrilled. Pasta with truffles is great â¤ï¸

We had our wedding dinner here and we were really happy with the service and the food. Everything went smooth from beginning to end and the quality of the food outstanding! Variety and presentation amazing as usual even if you come for a regular meal. Marcello is great!

Everything was wonderful at this remote restaurant in the hills of Abruzzo. The service, the wide variety of interesting dishes, the wine, and the flavors! I highly recommend. And if you need to drive a ways to get here in Civitella Casanova, then plan on spending the night in one of their wonderful rooms. They only have about six rooms so reserve one. Then you can enjoy more wine! The pictures others have posted tell you the whole story about this great Chef.

Really delicious meal - seafood antipasti followed by pasta and we shared a main fish dish. A beautiful plate of desserts at the end made it a really huge meal (don't order everything up front there really was a lot!). With lovely service and great wine at a reasonable price we were delighted. They were also very accommodating of our requests for no dairy and no gluten - nothing was a problem for them.

Industrial relict from 1950...Refurbished in 2012 promoting valuable fresh simple balanced food with attention to new technologies cooking systems. Cozy, relaxing and "wabi sabi " environment Each details from materials to light and colors are used to giv
the food we got was fantastic and the review would have been much better had the sweet, of ice cream (a staple of almost every Italian restaurant I have ever attended), been available. It would have been so bad if we had been told this upon ordering and not over 30 minutes later when we asked where it was.Service is good when it isn't busy, but while we were there the 2 staff plus the chef were run off their feet which is possibly why we weren't informed about the ice cream - so get there early

The experience at La Casina Rosa is unique. What deserves 5 stars is the ambience, the romantic atmosphere of the place, all decorated with originality, care and art by the owner, with exclusive attention to the details. The restaurant is located in a quiet area, with hills around, and surrounded by a pretty, green lawn, with weeping willow trees. It is strongly recommended that you call in advance to make a reservation, especially for lunch. When we arrived, we were first welcomed by the owner, Madam Marino, a fine lady who made us feel as her guests right away. We started with âantipastiâ, which were a series of three different plates, one after the other one, each one with different types of food prepared with a wide range of herbs and even marmalade and honey. Being an âagriturismoâ, much of what was served was grown and produced in the same place, including some of the meat, herbs and spices, and a variety of bread. In fact, herbs are what gives a special aroma to each dish and what characterizes their cooking. Pay attention to the decorative âpowderâ around the edge of the plates as it is more than a decoration. It is actually herb dusting in which you can âdipâ the food. We had other servings after the âappetizersâ. We spent about E.30-35 per person, including wine and dessert. It feels like experimenting a different world, although being unaccustomed to such diverse taste at times left me uncertain about what I was actually eating... What is magical, though, is the very romantic ambience, the way the place is arranged and its surroundings. After the meal, we talked with the owner and then enjoyed the calm, peaceful atmosphere of the garden, on the benches under the trees, with a pleasant breeze in a very hot summer day. It is worth a trip (donât forget to ask for directions when you call to make a reservation, as it is otherwise difficult to find it). A tip: donât go there just for food but to enjoy some relaxing time in a special place. You can even stay there, as they have accommodation facilities.

Was looking for a restaurant to eat in Penne on a quiet Tuesday night and after walking around we came back to Tatobbe....We had the anti-pasta shared for two and it was simply great....lots of small plates with a mixture of hot and cold...be careful not to eat too much of the wonderful bread otherwise you will not manage your main course and maybe even your starter! We had a veal main which was well cooked and very tasty and a calzone which was just to much food....well almost! Nice restaurant that I would go back to without hesitation. Service polite and attentive without being obtrusive..Nice find.
