A lovely dining experience, made more enjoyable by the friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient staff.Nothing was too much trouble for them (helping a disabled lady or moving diners who changed their minds and wanted to eat indoors - all done with genuine service) -The food - we all have menu de marché at 16 euros - was beautifully presented, fresh and full of flavour throughout. Wine - a carafe of rose was only 8 euros and the water was free and refilled frequently, as was the bread. We will certainly make this one of our frequent dining places and would thoroughly recommend it.

A lovely warm greeting set the scene for a very enjoyable Sunday lunch. The overall experience was good and the food was excellent. I chose a starter with tomato, prawns, monkfish and salad followed by deliciously cooked Noix de Saint Jacques. I wasn't too sure though about the accompanying legumes provencale which felt a bit too heavy a contrast for such a delicate dish. My husband chose the chevre chaud starter and a dish from the specials board. He said it was delicious and I benefitted from the seafood that came in the creme sauce! Coffee was very good too. One helpful comment I hope would be to put the instructions regarding the toilet lighting system in English as well as French. Wasn't a problem for me but could be for some!! Very pleased we went and will definitely go again.

The terrace of this restaurant has a lovely view of the river Lot. This makes for an ideal setting for lunch or dinner. The food is of good quality but nothing too adventurous or particularly exciting. It is a traditional menu which is not particularly extensive menu, although the fish options are very good. For families it is worth noting that the options for younger children are fairly limited.

Family of six out for lunch, never easy to sit us, but this restaurant accommodated us well. Plat du jour was chicken curry, excellent flavours. Wife has prawns and salmon curry from the main menu, again excellent. Children had the steak hache. Raspberry meringueâs and ice creams for the kids for pudding. Excellent service. Can not fault.

Looking over more recent reviews its a wonder we dined here at all! Our Experience could not have been more different or better. We were greeted by all staff members on arrival, seated promptly and offered aparatifs. Service throughout was attentive, friendly and efficient. A wide range of menu choices and price ranges ensures something for most budgets and tastes. A set 3 course menu du jour at 19.50 is very good value as is the 3 course choice from the a la carte menu for 26.50. Wines are very good and reasonably priced. The whole place is fascinating , quirky and interesting but never dull!My advice is do like we did and check it out for yourself - we'll be back.....soon!

Visited this restaurant for lunch on a hot, sticky day, attracted by the vue panoramique. Inside, we went through the internal dining room to the shaded terrace at the rear, which did indeed have a terrific outlook. The menu overall seemed a good selection of dishes at reasonable prices but the Menu de Jour at 15 euros looked like a potential bargain, so worth a go. There were two choices of each of starter, main course and dessert that all looked interesting, to order all three courses at the outset, as usual. Our party of four had all the items between us and they were all were delicious with very ample sized servings. The accompanying wine was reasonably priced and very acceptable. Staffing was minimal, a waitress and an apprentice server lad, but both were efficient and friendly and there were no delays. One of our best eating experiences.

We visited this restaurant with friends for lunch. The food served was a set menu, so we had no choice of any dishes.Very intriguing waiting for our lunch out on the sunny terrace.Three fantastic typically french courses were served. We had wine and coffee, exceptional value for money, friendly and efficient service.

What a great location for a relaxing lunch, great host and really good food.Salad with Roquefort cheese was amazing, really good dressing. Spaghetti carbonara was one of the best I have tasted. The chef is excellent.Recommend booking as it is in demand for a good reason.
