Especialidad en Arroces y Guisos de Pescadores. Gastronomia Local. Restaurante familiar desde 1967
It was like a michelin star restaurant in terms of the service. Great attention to detail. The herizos de mar and the lengueta were really good. We had the paella with langostino and pulpo (paella jordi) the portion was goldilocks. Not too big, not too small, just right! You need to book. Its always full apparently.

This restaurante should be more highly rated. We had one of the best lunches we've had in ages here for 19 euros. The menu included 3 shared starters all excellent especially the pumpkin soup with ravioli. The steak was very good and the shared dessert perfect. Excellent cheerful, helpful service too.

It was lunchtime in a quite time of the year so there weren't many/any other people here. The service was great as the Colombiana woman looked after as very well. The food however was not so good. Chipirones were kind of fine to start but the Rape (Monkfish) for main was not so great, lots of bits in it. It was cheap and cheerful but far from excellent food.

Myself and two friends visited this restaurant twice during our stay and the food we had was delicious. First visit was for Tapas. Service was efficient and friendly staff which is always nice especially as we donât speak much Spanish! Tapas was all amazing! Second visit we opted for paella and it was amazing . Lots of passers by also seemed to be admiring it. We will defiantly be back for more.

Made the mistake of coming here for the last meal in PeñÃscola. The flavors are outstanding. They have a tasty pizza with super fresh buffalo mozzarella, local PeñÃscola tomatoes and a tender blistered crust. Finishes off with an outstanding lemoncello on the house (kids get a kiddie drink on the house as well). I will have to return to PeñÃscola just to eat here again. Did I mention the prices were ridiculously low?

Very lovely food with a good choice of crepes. Service was good, if a little slow, but they were very busy. I will definitely be coming back to eat as it was delicious & they were very friendly :-)

Fixed price menu available in the evening, not that common. Some different choices for both courses. Friendly efficient service. Full bottle of wine included between two, I think (have to admit we were so surprised by the final bill, we didn't check the details! Very generous complementary drinks to follow. Would recommend without reservation.

We were in Peniscola for 4 nights, ate here 3 evenings- and we rarely ever do that!Great location, nice outside eating area with partial sea views. The restaurant specialises in Iberian ham (but there are plenty of other dishes - don't worry). Their platters are amazing, 4 or 5 different ones, point to note if you are having a couple of tapas dishes then a half platter is enough for two people. The food is fresh, beautifully presented, very fairly priced, the service is friendly attentive and adds to the wonderful atmosphere this restaurant has. Its TripAdvisor position is totally warranted. The wine list is very good, the house Rioja was very nice, good if you just want a glass.Do yourself a favour when in Peniscola and visit Tasca La bellota, you will not be disappointed.
