We stopped by Hygge because it was on the way to our hotel and we are really glad we did! We ordered the specialty: laksa and the truffle beef. It was both delicious. Balanced flavours and the place is cozy with a wonderful and friendly service. If youâre in Georgetown and you have had enough streetfood already, than you should definitely go there!Hi Maxfloor, thank you for dining with us and appreciate your good review and feedback :-) we are looking forward to serving u again..

Absolutely the best authentic fresh & healthy Italian fusion food in Penang!! Magnifico thin crust pizza, pasta, desserts and of course illy coffee based drinks. A must go to place in George Town for tourists and locals, couples and the whole family.
Although I was staying in the vibrant âLove Streetâ area, I found this cafe just around the corner away from the touters and loud music. It was a nice change for when I was looking for somewhere a bit more relaxing, the pasta was fantastic and the wine very good. The service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere very chilled and easy. Highly recommended.

Cozy french vibe restaurant tucked away in Georgetown, the decor and music really made it feel enjoyable and relaxing. Food was delicious, unique with a familiar taste, not too overwhelming. The setting is good for a special family celebration or a couples romantic night out.

Dined here during our stay at the resort. The restaurant is spacious and very tastefully decorated and the staff are polite and helpful. Wine prices are high but the Cote du Rhône (white and red) were nevertheless excellent. We started with their signature dish of tomato soup which is served flambé at the table. To be honest it just tasted like a good store bought tomato soup - perhaps I was expecting more. The other starter was tiger prawns which were delicious and the better choice. We had hoped to have a crisped artichoke risotto for the main course but despite this being on the menu at the hotel reception and website we were informed that they had introduced a new red wine risotto that day. We pointed out that the website menu needed updating and we were promised that would happen. Two days later the website was still showing the old menu.So we ate steak which was excellent but regretted that we were unable to sample the artichoke risotto as this would have shown how well the chef cooked.
From the exact team that brings you Basil, le Bistrot and BLB Taipei, we are proud to present to you our new 'Piece de Resistance', Restaurant au Jardin at Hin Bus Depot, Penang.
This restaurant was totally unexpected. Housed in an old warehouse you would never expect there to be a fine dining French experience inside. The food is exquisite and the chef places a big focus on sourcing local ingredients.

The dinner for my motherâs birthday was most enjoyable.Service was good. The food was delicious. After entree and main most of my family could not have dessert so serving portions have increased.Minor hitch: the security guard refused to let me drive in even though I told him I was coming for dinner. He did not seem to read even I showed him my booking on the phone. As our visit was during the haze period the Blue Mansion with its open air and ventilation was an issue. Luckily the restaurant was air-conditioned.Dear Davidlye70, Thank you so much for your feed back. We are glad that you had enjoyed your time with us. We have also noted the comments on the guard and we will take the necessary action. We hope to welcome you back again to our restaurant Indigo.Indigo Crew

Three of us went for first time. Simply wonderful. Small but smart place with good service and very reasonable prices. The menu you is small but filled with gems.I had the 4 course âSetâ Menu. The price is set off the entree you select. I started with the Smoked Duck Apple Walnut Salad. Marvelous and large enough for my girlfriend and I to share with some remaining. The Salad was very well put together and pleasing to our eye. Then I had the pumpkin soup which was delicious. Again large enough for 2. My girlfriends 18 year old daughter tried it and would not give it back! Then the main, I ordered the Duck confit served with Kumara mash, Ratatouille, greens and a nice Longan Sauce. The presentation was elegant and photo worthy. For dessert they served ice cream with cubes of chocolate cake with strawberries and sauces. Oh it also came with a drink! I had the iced peach tea! Everything was delicious. The price for the set .... About 43 Malaysian Ringett or $10 US. Amazing. My girlfriend had the Duck Stew and daughter had a very eye catching wrap with salad. Both delicious and each cost about 20 Ringett or $5.Then my girlfriend ordered coffee. It was so well made, she didnât want to put her usual milk and dilute the flavor! The area is nice with some bars, etc close by.Highly recommend and we will come back soon! Dinner for 3 adults total 102 MR or $25.Thank you for a enjoyable evening meal.

We went to 2 Frenchies last weekend and it was just a pleasure! Food was delicious, service was perfect. So glad to know that place as we live here! Price is also ok and it is the perfect place to go when you need a break from asian food and want a real taste from France. For sure weâll go there again and bring friends.A taste of the home we left behind is what we wanted to bring to Penang. We look forward to welcoming you back and to introducing your friends to our little corner of the world.Thank you once againThe Two Frenchies Team
