Restaurant that despite the very important and spectacular location, doesnât meet the expectations. Staff very low performance and do not respect the guest. Wine served with dirty and splashed labels. Time to order and to be served extremely high. Despite all have been showed, not even an apologises has been done to us. Price too high. Restaurant Environment not so good

We came here for lunch and both ordered the Thai beef wraps which was delicious. It was well filled with beef and the salad was fresh. It felt like a healthy lunch when there are a multitude of pizza and fast food places. They have a loyalty scheme which we signed up to which meant we got a free protein ball each which was nice. We will definitely be coming back. Staff were friendly and place was clean

So having seen the 5* reviews we headed down to Waterbiscuit for our last evening in Malta. We booked a table through the associated InterContinental Reception attached the the restaurant, but on arrival, no reservation had been made. We were told to wait 20 minutes for a table and bought a round of drinks. Sitting outside was genuinely pleasant and the staff were very polite.45 minutes later, still no table. We had acquired some ready salted crisps on the house as an apology.Around 9pm we were shown to our table. The restaurant is really nicely decorated to be fair and had a good atmosphere.930 swung around and we had menus and a bottle of water to show for our time. All of us had been to the bathroom in this time and nobody had yet taken our order. The menu seems pretty spenny for the size of portions but I understand they're shooting for an A La Carte market. Unfortunately the service didn't match the menu, or the price tag, or the decor. So after an hour and a half, we left the restaurant, and headed down the road the The Shoreditch, a burger restaurant. I recommend you do the same. We all ate 2 courses for the same price as a starter each in Waterbiscuit. The only reason I gave two stars is that the staff were genuinely polite and the Maitre D was very apologetic. Unfortunately he was all fart but no s**t. So we left. And I'm writing this review munching on a delicious burger.Avoid Waterbiscuit. I promise. Dear customer, We are very sorry that you have had this experience, we extend our sincerest apologies. We hope we would have the opportunity to make it up to you.

We were surprised by the fiversity if options at this breakfast buffet. All the basics: omelette bar, breakfast faire, etc. but the variety of breads, pastries, fruits, treats, and even British beans, added to the experience. Not a glamorous display, but good quality and variety make this a great value.

Fornelli is a restaurant that is housed within the Bay Street Shopping Complex. We offer good value for money, with a cooking style consisting of something very modern that keeps people coming back for more. Our chef and his excellent culinary team hold g
We booked breakfast with our stay for ease in the mornings, very pleased we did considering the standard of food served from many of St Julian's restaurants isn't particularly good.Down side is they serve the same buffet food every single day for breakfast, on the plus it was clean and the food was prepared fairly well.

We were in St Julian's Bay for just 1 week and wanted to try many of the top rated restaurants. We ate at Maltese Mama, Storie @ Sapori, Biancos, 1927, Wigiâs Kitchen, Le Majoliche and here. The good news is that they were all very good so if you are staying here you are pretty much guaranteed good food.In the face of some stiff competition we thought this restaurant was the best all round dining experience of our week. Excellent service, beautifully presented and delicious food, lovely setting in an outside courtyard â and good value too.We were given a complimentary amuse-bouche and shared a prawn starter which was amazing. My wife had a fillet steak which was beautifully cooked and I went for the oven baked fish of the day which was also excellent. All washed down with a very nice bottle of Primitivo. We didnât have room for desert! You should east here.

Caviar & Bull is the brainchild of Maltese celebrity chef and gastro-ambassador Marvin Gauci. With an exciting menu that fuses colour, texture, scent and taste, Caviar & Bull is one of the most sought-after gastro hotspots of the country.
Pricey but tasty though nothing extra-ordinary, this venue is architecturally faulted to a level that you cannot hear your own thoughts let alone person next to you. Management should recognize this, respext clients amd invest in some easy and not too expensive aolutions.Dear GeminiSoul,Thank you for taking your time to write a review and glad to hear that you found our food tasty, although nothing extra-ordinary (sic). Sorry to hear that the restaurant was noisy when you visited us. You have to kindly consider that Caviar&Bull is a popular restaurant catering for different occasions and celebrations, so it might tend to get bustling and happy at times. It is really not our aim to silent our guests since most of them are coming to enjoy themselves and have a good time.I assume this happened on a busy weekend when our restaurant is reaching the maximum capacity.Sorry again we didn't meet your expectations but if you would give us another chance in the future,we recommend, you visit us on one of the weekdays, when the vibe is smoother or Sunday lunch when it's very relaxing. We honestly hope that we can have the possibility to change your mind about us.Best regards,

Perched on top of Madliena, surrounded by lush greenery and commanding excellent north-western coastal views, Madliena Lodge is truly one of a kind. Keeping the 18th-century architecture and more so amplifying the features which are nowadays pretty scarce

Really authentic Italian food. Great service and a nice location on the side of the street with outdoor and indoor dining. Lots of seafood options, including fresh lobster linguine. Highlights for us included the carbonara, the pizza Napoli and the dough and seaweed balls with tempura vegetables.
