Paralia (Greek: Παραλία, Paralía, meaning "beach") is a tourist seaside settlement and a former municipality in the eastern part of the Pieria regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Katerini, of which it is a municipal unit. The seat of the municipality was in Kallithea. The 2011 census reported a population of 1,124 for the village of Paralia, and 6,803 for the municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 24.344 km, the community 1.849 km.. Paralia Katerinis actually translated "Beach of Katerini" and is the closest beach to the capital city of Katerini.

We found Amalthea searching the net on our trip between Meteora and Thessaloniki and commented how one place can have so many good reviews.After visiting the charming brothers we fully understand why and how. It is exceptional. From a quick lunch it became a long one.We had fish courses which where simple,tasty but refined with a twist,great wine and incredible desserts.We had the incredible nice brothers giving us full attention and writing us a handbook of great restaurants for our journey ahead.Thank you for memorable stay at your place and we hope to visit you soon again.Last comment: the prize was more than fair for the quality.We would like to thank you very much for your great review! Deffinetly the best pizza u will have in olympic beach, made fresh right in front of you. Place is clean and nice. Staff members are welcoming and friendly. You can have your leftovers packed to take away. Highly recomended place to eat!

We have stopped there by accident. Nothing fancy, regular greek tavern, on the promenade street meters away from the beach. Ordered there stuffed calamari, a grilled calamari and a fried calamari menu for the kid. Well, i can say the grilled calamari was huge and each dish was actually very deljcious. See the pictures attached. Will definetely go there again.

I came for a quick gyros and PacMAM became my second home in Paralia. From gyros to burgers (XL one was my favourite, Kostas' version, made with cheese sauce), food is magnific, staff is very friendly and the place is wonderful. Thanks Anestis, Mirto, Maria and Kostas for all!

This Restaurant have very fresh and delicious food. We had mediterranean plate for two which was very big, the food was more than enough and very tasty. We also had tzatziki - also very nice done. The service is on point as well. Will definitely visit again!
