Find out what European restaurants to try in Panama City. A diverse multicultural city of almost 1.3 million, Panama City offers a lot more than an up-close view of the Canal. Shantytowns slink up alongside shiny high-rise condos. The Old City is an atmospheric labyrinth of churches, plazas and palaces. Fifteen miles from downtown Panama City, Soberania National Park is an excellent destination for hiking and birding. For a fascinating look at the canal, take a taxi or local bus to Miraflores Locks Visitor Center and look down on the traffic below.

Sure there's plenty of inexpensive food in Panama, but it was such a refreshing change to go to a more upper scale restaurant that really takes pride in the decor of the meal and the taste of the food. Absolutely delicious! Had a squash carrot soup and seafood ravioli. The family next to me ordered sumptuous waffles topped with ice cream for their kids.

An old fashioned and quite expensive Spanish restaurant, offering classical Iberic recipes. We ordered a fish mousse (not bad, but not very well explained: the menu spoke about pastela frita de peixe), loabster soup (very poor, I suppose it was made of prawns, not of a real loabster), stockfish with vegetables (hypersalty, quite impossible to eat). The only really good dish was a crunchy and delicious grilled octopus. Decent red wine of the house (though it was not declared from where region and from what grapes it cam from), very fragrant Spanish olive oil and fresh bread offered as amuse gueule. Too few to make the dinner satisfactory. Not recommended

This is not a fancy place. But the service is great, and the food was so tasty. The pizza, in particular was outstanding! The "12" size is not a personal pizza - it will feed 2 people. The restaurant is small, but the do take reservations.

My husband and I were blown away by the gorgeous interior and the decor of the restaurant. Stunning restaurant I wish I took more photos. We had truffle burgers and spaghetti bolognese everything was cooked for perfection. Beautiful view of the city skyline overlooking the ocean. Located on the Yoo Tower this restaurant is highly recommended.

The food was great but the owner who came in interrupting our waiter was offensive when he did not recognize the dish we requested (saying it "did not exist." Of course it does in traditional italian kitchens.) and would not serve a portion of pasta with the Ossobuco, so out came a full portion. Im disappointed because our four course meal and good wine was well prepared and served but the slight rudeness at the beginning and limited space on the table was just enough to taint the experience.

Delicious Italian food, by the renowned Chef Gaetano Maruto. You must try our seafood and wines. ¡Come join us!
Cute little (as in tiny) restaurant serves generous portions but you have to ask for bread. The service was verrryyyy slooowww. Three of us ordered Bolognesa, Pizza Carbonara and Carbonara pasta. My pasta was good but not great by Italian standards. The wine was very good. We lost power in the middle of the meal and it took the server forever to find a candle and light it. When the power came on, instead of leaving us with the charming atmosphere of the candle, he took it away only to bring it back again when the power went out. Hmmmm.

Everything about the visit here was fabulous. Shared the onion soup with my husband and so much gooey yummy cheese. And the moules frites!!! Incredible!! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They have homemade flavor enhanced rums in jars which we had as an after meal drink. To keep us company was the owners adorable dog. Cannot say enough about this restaurant. Felt like Iâd stepped back into the streets of Paris. Dear Customers, Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review about Lessep's!We're glad you enjoyed your late lunch with us! Your compliments about our onion soup and Moules Marinieres have been passed along to the Chef.We look forward to to welcoming you again!Sincerely,
