This is my favourite cafe in Palmerston North! The baristas somehow manage to remember the coffee orders of their large number of regular customers, and the coffee is always delicious. I also love the food and beer on offer. Everything is served with a smile. I can't fault it!

Well located in Fitzherbert Ave close to the bridge on way out of town towards Massey University. Small parking area on site plus roadside parking. Great outside eating area for sunny days plus smallish eating area inside. Furnishings appear dated now but restaurant area clean and tidy as it ablution area. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and were quick to serve. Menu was not huge but definitely something for everybody I had the Vietnamese Shinko Mushroom soup and my wife had a well filled panini. The restaurant is obviously popular given the amount of diners in the restauraunt and the amount of reserved tables. Great for business meetings or end of year parties. Not so well set up for children but I dont see that as a drawback.Enjoyed our lunch in a good warm atmosphere. Jo

This place is pure class! The food, the service, the hospitality, the ambience - all amazing. And the whole concept of sharing the selected dishes works wonderfully; everybody orders a couple of different dishes, serving is staggered to ensure a constant stream of delicious, freshly cooked magic, and we all get to taste a variety of deliciousness. Thereâs a reason why a restaurant is fully booked on a wintry Tuesday evening - well done Hannah and team. Weâll meet again - soon

I have been to Barista for brunch/lunch on many occasions and am never disappointed. Delicious food, wonderful coffee and great service, even when they are busy. Recently I had my first dinner experience at Barista and I was equally impressed. Lovely atmosphere. One of my favourite places to eat in Palmy

Every time I visit I think, âthis has got the be the best steak Iâve ever hadâ. They also have amazing starters (the bruschetta is very good). Also has great lamb, fish and vegetarian options that the group I was with highly rated. And my experience of the service has been excellent.Excellent bar to meet clients or friends before your meal, and it caters for private or business functions. Set menu options also make this great for larger business groups as Iâve experienced on previous occasions.Highly recommend.
