We enjoyed a wonderful sit-down breakfast here. The cafe has a lovely ambiance, friendly staff and serves great, flavorful meals. The creamy mushrooms were gourmet fare, the best Iâve ever had anywhere in NZ.

Typical pub type premises, the menu was limited, the meals were quite good with large helpings. Parking is handy out on the street front. The food is typical kiwi steaks, pork medallions and fish and chips with generous helpings . The toilets were very clean and the premises were clean and staff were friendly and helpful. A large group of locals were present so it is obviously popular with them. Would eat there again if visiting Paeroa.

We had lunch here with friends. The food was well below expectations, even on my friends' cheese toasty the cheese was only half melted. My $19 fish burger came with unmelted cheese, a barely toasted bun, and some kind of awful tasting sauce somewhere in the middle. Only the chips and coffee were good. After quite a wait there was at least 15 minutes until everyone at our table had their meal.
