Went here a couple of times at our holiday in Candidasa as it was located conveniently close to our hotel. Service was good and we felt really welcome here. Food is rather average and not something special, but prices also reflect this as it is quite cheap.

Had a delightful lunch on arrival today at Bayshore Bungalows. Their complex restaraunt recently renovated has an extensive and fairly priced menu with the food being of excellent quality in preparation and presentation. Its obvious the owner is meticulous in purchasing the raw product as well.If not staying still visit, dine and enjoy the beachfront location with cooling sea breezes and view at no extra charge. You will not be disappointed. We are not every time.Regards Pete and Chrissie@balivilla4u"Where nothing's a problem and everything's a pleasure"#GuestsLoveUs#privatepool#villasnusadua

Three of us visited, and all opted for the Black Pepper Burger. Not a large burger, but well cooked, very tasty and nicely served. Reasonably priced, friendly staff and ambient setting.

It was hard to choose a meal with so many innovative dishes on offer, both local and international. The combination of ingredients was creative and the presentation was colourful and artistic. Amazingly delicious, too. The restaurant setting was classy and quirky, clean and friendly efficient staff. Next time I'd like to take in the jazz and work my way down the menu sampling the other dishes!

Nice decor, romantic seating around the swimming pool. Very friendly and helpfull service. I took a big chance and ordered a steak (Indonesian beef). Adequately tender and very tasty. My wife enjoyed her food too. The house red wine (two Islands) was better than expected. Reasonable prices.
While waiting to board our boat to Gili Trawangan, we took a quick stop for something to eat here. Prices are reasonable and the taste likewise. My girlfriend had a strawberry-banana smoothie which she was quite fond of. I myself had a chicken sandwich, where the chicken consisted of one thin slice. Other than that, the service was quick and the staff nice. PS they have amazing signs inside!

The small restaurant (Warung) near the main road and the beach. We serve Western and Indonesian Cuisine.Open 11 am - 11 pm
Met a German lass in a salon who recommended this place (for our last night in Candidasa). Enjoyed entrees, mains and just had room to share a spicy chocolate samosa. All yummy! The juices were great and the arak is good (always have it neat, spoils the flavour otherwise). Would be back if we weren't leaving tomorrow.

The food was nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the menu has lots of options for westerners not wishing to venture too far from their comfort zones! They also have local options which were very tasty.Iâve seen some reviews complaining about unfriendly staff - they must have changed policy or people because everybody there was delightful!Dear 32nadiam,First of all, thank you so much for visiting The Colonial restaurant and also for taking the time to share your experience with other travelers. We're thrilled that it impressed you with the choice of our western and local meals and are glad to hear that you had really good experience with out friendly staff :)Best regards,OK Divers
