We were ending a long trip and only wanted a light dinner after a large lunch. What could be better than a couple of pizze. One porcini mushroom, and one spicy sausage, along with a bottle of local wine.Great service. Great value.

On our last night in Orvieto we enjoyed a beautiful meal at this lovely restaurant, in the heart of Orvieto. Friendly and helpful staff, a complimentary Prosecco to start, as well as canapes, after discussion with staff we decided on wild boar stew for my man and for me Irish beef and rosemary, served with baked potatoes, an a beautiful bottle of red local wine. All beautiful!Good helpful staff, lovely atmosphere, thoroughly recommend this classy restaurant in downtown Orvieto.

Restaurant and Cooking School Join Chef Lorenzo and the staff at Ristorante Zeppelin for a hands-on cooking class!
Our tour group ate here one night. First, there was a demonstration of pasta making by Chef Lorenzo. When he had a ball of dough, he started rolling it out until it was very thin. He then rolled the thin dough into one long roll, which he began slicing. After he had made several cuts, he slipped his knife under the cut pieces and lifted them and they collapsed as long strings of pasta/spaghetti. That was pretty impressive. He then called some of our group one at a time to see if they could do what he had done.As for the meal, each person got a plate with breads, a little cheese, olives, and thinly sliced meat. As vegetarians, ours didn't have the meat. We also had a bowl with pasta under a marinara sauce. We also had eggplant parmesan; with mine I had some salad stuff and a bunch of what looked like hashbrown potatoes. Dessert was chocolate biscotti, with whipped cream and chocolate gelato. Also, there was lots of wine (red or white) and bottled water. Most of the food was good, but I wouldn't say any of it was great. The setting was interesting, kind of like being in a cave.

We came with a group of 35 highschool boys and made a reservation a few days in advance. Paying 15 euro per person, we had bruscetta, pasta (seconds if you wanted it), a meat with potatoes, and a delicious homemade desert. The guys were stuffed! They put us in the "grotto" or underground cavern, which dates back to the Etruscan period. We had that place to ourselves and it was a really cool atmostphere and quiet the experience.Gracias padre...Les deseo de todo corazon una linda estadiaVioleta

First and only BREWPUB in Orvieto, we also provide a FULL BAR and WINE LIST, with exceptional wines not just locals. We have an OPEN-PLAN KITCHEN on the first floor and a TINY TERRACE where you can enjoy our gourmet/traditional/streetfood/tapas menu. Not
This is more of a bar than a restaurant (although the do breakfasts). up a little side street, they give free nibbles whilst you drink at very reasonable wine prices ... I loved this place, and you could miss it .. so seek it out !

The principal ingredient of our kitchen is love. Love for the high-quality products of the territory â Umbrian and Tuscan extra-virgin olive oil, chianina beef, truffles, cheeses â and for the magical blends of new and subtle flavors, the underlying premi
Very good value for fine food and wine in a lovely location. We enjoyed an excellent lunch - the first courses were particularly good. 10 out of 10 for these. 9 out of 10 for the mains and 11 out of 10 for the wine. We had the wonderful pâté, timbale of eggplants with truffle sauce and baked cheese with pears. For mains, the rabbit was very moist and flavourful. The roast pork was tasty and if the fat could have been crispy it would have been perfect. The lamb was succulent and tender. We had the Orvieto San Gregorio (Antoniri brand) which was delicious and great value at 21 euro. It would be our first choice for a return visit.

This beautiful restaurant sits on a charming piazza in a perfect Italian setting. The staff is charming and excellent with kids. We ate the egg with bacon potato and truffle to start. It was delicious and nothing we would ever get at home. We then had the spaghetti with smoked butter, ginger and anchovy and the wild boar ribs. The spaghetti was perfectly cooked, and the anchovy added a nice flavor and texture. The wild boar ribs were the best thing we ate. They were falling off the bone and super moist with an amazing flavor. We then had the cooked pear with cinnamon and chocolate for dessert. It was very good, but not my favorite. When we go back to Orvieto, we will surely go back! Yum!

Helpful and friendly waiter who spoke decent English. We ate: Insalata Caprese, pasta with Cinghiale (wild boar) sauce, pasta with Truffle shavings. All of them were amazing: simple, string, tasty, and well-priced.
