Saturday night we had dinner together at Paviljoen de Meidoorn. For those not so well known in this area: De Meidoorn is located in a nature reserve (beautiful walks around the Tenellaplas) and around 18.30 pm when we drove up the deer ran across the road! Parking is definitely at night no problem: there is a nice big park in front of the restaurant. Before entering you walk on the beautiful sheltered terrace (the restaurant has an L-shape) and inside it looks cozy. However, a little bit dark, if you're sitting at the table in some places. When the drink before we took bread with various spreads and it tasted fine. The cook also served an amuse of date with bacon around it.We chose the varkenssateh and is served on a large skewer. The meat was super tender and the salad with it was nice and well stocked. Of course we got tasty french fries. The service was correct and friendly and not too pushy present. I can recommend De Meidoorn!

We only came for a coffee and a soup, so we cannot give an authorities comment on their dinner menu.We came on a very windy Sunday, not many people on the beach except for many experienced windsurfers and para surfers making incredible jumps in the heavy storm. But the "bruine Bonen soep" was the best I ever had.

This stylish decorated restaurant is located in front of the Oostvoorne lake and gives you a spectacular view at night on the distant lights of the Rotterdam harbour. You can eat outside on the terrace with heating available or inside. The seats are very nice and comfortable. The staff is very helpfull and flexible. The menucard has a broad variety of meals you can choose between fish, meat and vegetarian. The winecard has enough varieties of wine to make you puzzled what to take. Price Quality is very good. I really can recommend this restaurant

Food - the starter of tomato and mozzarella salad arrived with no fresh tomatoes - sun dried tomatoes (too intense and no real reason for that) and pretty crudely chopped. Could have done much better at home without even thinking about it. Main of prawns was good. For clients who order the pappardelle then a half wheel of Parmesan is wheeled out (table next to us ordered) and the pappardelle is mixed in the cheese wheel with flaming Italian brandy to finish the sauce - if you like that i guess it is ok but a bit 1970âs theatre for me and worse when the waiting staff were so over zealous in mixing the sauce and pasta in the cheese wheel that the sauce went flying on to a silk blouse of the customer who ordered the dish. When it came to paying, it took three attempts to get the right bill. Some of the food was ok but pretty standard Italian restaurant faire, not really memorable as there are lots of great and better Italian restaurants around.

De Landbouw has private car park, we were able to close parking. The entrance you come in looks a bit like a cafetaria. Around the corner is a restaurant section (for our sense). The menu card is quite extensive and there is also a monthly menu served (in October 4 courses plus coffee for 31 euros) as well as various stews. Although the monthly menu is tempting, certainly in terms of pricing we chose from the menu. Thatâs rather pricy. For a nice appetizer and main course are you also so 30 euros. We chose among other things for the carpaccio, mussels au gratin and salad with fillet of beef. These dishes were beautiful, delicious and so worthwhile . As a main course we had grilled ribeye, lamb and mixed grill. The meat was cooked perfectly and to our exact specification so we can say the chef is in control. Nice crunchy vegetable there and apart served French fries with sauces. Serving staff is not serving for the first time: friendly, correct and exactly on time. Also pleasant that is explained in advance what outside of the menu can be ordered and also what is on the card but no more available (in our case only the Greek yogurt).Desserts menu: very many ice-cream variations. Our final judgment about De Landbouw is positive, with two caveats: 1. Prices should really not be higher 2. Interior needs a pump up!

The owner of this restaurant likes to sing a song, when he finishes cooking. Sometimes on a sunday evening there are special events. Like fondue Austrian way, with Austrian music. If you like that, take a look on the website

Unfortunately I cannot really write a review on this place. After a nice walk along the shore we ended in this place. It actually looks nice - but after seating for 20 minutes, seen by the staff and continuously ignored, we left again without even being able to order anything.Unfortunate that Dutch service seems to be poor in many places...

We had dinner here before going on the ferry to Hull. It looks like a cafe but the food is surprisingly good. Prices on the evening menu are a bit high for a pub but the sate and burger we had were great!
