We just finished lunch. They erred the coffee order, the amount of cheese was four times the amount needed to enjoy the bread served with it, and for an alcohol-free meal, it was typically high priced for Denmark.HOWEVER, the courtesy with WHICH everything was done was delightfully uncommon to find in Odense, or almost anywhere in Denmark.Dear Yodel and Clemmie,Thank you for your honest comments about your visit to Café Skt Gertrud.I am pleased to hear you enjoyed the service.I cannot remember any other guests saying there is not enough bread with the cheese but maybe thats because they have just asked and been served more bread on the day. We hope to see you back at Gertruds another day.Yours SincerelyMark

Restaurant Café Chino is located in the fantastic area around Brandt Klaedefabrik, with of restaurants and shops. The café offers delicious light dishes in a factory like setting. Friendly staff. We waited a while for the drinks, though, -but that was also the only complaint we had. Possibility for outdoor dining. I recommend "Build your own Tapas", or "Build your own Brunch". Reasonable prices. I recommend this place.

Restaurant Under Lindetræet is one of the oldest gourmet restaurant in Denmark. The building is dated all the way back to 1771, and there has been a restaurant in the building since 1960. The food is made from local, top quality ingredients and the wine a
You can tell that the chef is careful with his choices of the menu, the food was great and also looked extremely good on the plate. The ambience is great, nice and cosy, in tune with the small houses around (the restaurant is just across the street from the H.C. Andersen house).

IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE OF SNEAKY PRACTICES, FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO EATLast time in that place March 2019. This place systematically try to get cheap labor paid 0 in concerts and other extraordinary events. Systematically. The claim is something like 'it is an opportunity'... To make burgers for them and being at a concert. But no pay, it is "volunteering". Their prices are very high and they can just pay who works for them.

The building itself is a delight - dating back to 1683 and very much looking the part. Service was excellent, and the food very rich, but very good. My main course was rack of lamb, with a variety of interesting vegetables and a thick lamb sauce. My partner had Wiener Schnitzel. Our desserts were pancakes with home-made icecream and a flaming creme brulee. The starters looked good and very substantial, but we knew we wouldn't have room!

This restaurant is a bit more hyped than deserved. Very french brasserie style interior with lots of different style chairs etc. Friendly service but not overly attentive. Good food but not prepared with the expertise we expected. Some of the dishes very quite over salted. But it is cheap so I guess you should not expect high end quality. It is also quite rare that it happens.

Very nice atmosphere at this place, and super friendly service. Brunch was tasty, but for 169DKK pretty pricey, and honestly there could've been more on the platter. Would definitely go again & try something else.Dear Henrik_moThank you for your review and for sharing your experience at Tripadvisor. Delicious Healthy Fast Food We provide delicious home made dishes for every taste in a casual hygge atmosphere. Wraps, salads, sandwiches, great noodle dishes and of course Soup!
What more can I say; great food, a nice atmosphere and a warm welcome. The waiter was one of the best iâve ever had, as a viennese youâre noticing this instantly, because in Vienna waiters normally have a, what i call, viennese grumpiness in their genes. Ah and the prices were reasonable. So what keeps you from going there? Thanks! We really make an effort to make everyone happy.

This was booked by our Danish family who've been here a couple of times before. Very popular, so we'd booked a table in advance. We were seated straight away and bread, butter and water were immediately served to us. We all opted for the three course set menu - salted cod with tarragon and fennel followed by roast veal and finished off with chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream served with pickled blackcurrants. The choices for this meal were: three courses for DK300 (about £40), three courses plus matching wine for DK400 (about £53) or for DK600 you also get fois gras with the main course, petit fours at the end and some other bits and pieces.Three of us opted for the matching wines, while our designated driver stuck to a single beer. They do offer a half-serving of wines, but they're so generous with the wine that it's hard to be sure exactly how much you're drinking!Well, it was all superb. Amazing flavours, beautifully cooked and presented and very professionally served. Our waiter, Eric, spoke perfect English with a strong American accent - I asked if he'd lived in the States - turns out he was born there and moved to Denmark as a child! The other staff also spoke good English and the menus are available in English as well as Danish.Lovely convivial atmosphere, quiet enough to be able to have a conversation but enough background noise and the tables far enough apart that you don't feel anyone can eavesdrop. We hope to be back soon.
